Hello

Try not to worry. Mine was just a lengthy chat with the doctor regarding symptoms, diet and other health problems. I then got a huge stack of all manner of tests to have done (breath, urine, stool, blood), second discussion to follow after those results were back. Bring your questions and paper and pen, there was so much that I forgot once I got home
Please don't worry as 1st reply said there will be discussion but be prepared for the suggestion of endoscopy and colonoscopy and if there are thought to be the best way forward do have them. They are not that bad and can let the Consultant see what is inside, inflammation etc. They can also find out if there is Crohn's disease etc from looking inside. Yes it is uncomfortable but when I was told there was no cancer they were tests well worthwhile having
Be brave, if you have not seen a gastro before, you will probably be advised to undergo some tests. I had this and all proved negative. It can be good to know that nothing is seriously wrong. Best wishes.
Hi, as cricketqueen said if they offer you a colonoscopy have its the best test you can have for showing up anything or nothing. If you have that done they will always give you a sedative if you want one. But please don't worry not knowing is more worrying. Take Care
