Hello, new and fed up

Hi all, ive suffered from bowel problems for the last few years, predominately constipation which leaves me sometimes not able to go to the loo for two weeks but generally im a once a week girl. I dont know if anyone can relate to this question but when my stool enters the lower part of my bowel it sends my hormones off the scale, i have a mini breakdown, crying and generally feel like im losing it, is this normal? Thanks All
