I thought I had it, but I believe it's caused by a yeast infection or a bacterial infection. I feel pains all over my body, on top of that I have a hernia and IBS.

Yup. Sorry it's been so long since you posted. I understand there's evidence that IBS and Fibro are related. I had IBS long before fibro made itself felt. You found this site. If you back to health unlocked you may find the fibroaction site. Do take a look and introduce yourself.

First thing is to get a diagnosis from your GP which can take a long time as there's no definite test, it's a matter of eliminating other things, like vitamin D deficiency, reaction to other drugs (like statins). When you get there, there's a pinned post on the right hand side (where the HU disclaimer is, second down is a really helpful one.

Come over and have a chat, ask some more questions or just have a moan. We're friendly caring and pretty loopy, but I'm having a day off that. It's too nice. XX

Yes I have Fibromyalgia, IBS-C, Coccydenia and a host of other conditions, pain, pain, pain is my life now

I was told my aches etc were "Most probably fibromyalgia".

I am sooooo much better on the FODMAP diet and with acupuncture

It seems fibro is the label they give you when they have ruled out other things such as thyroid and arthritis.

A bit like "IBS" it is just a label to something the western medical world know nothing about.
