I'm sure most of us on here know how you feel :(

Have you tried taking a a product with Alpha Galactosidase in? - it is an enzyme that breaks down complex carbs into simple sugars. There is an American product called Beano. I just searched on eBay and it looks like there are quite a few products containing it on the market now (there were only a couple a few years ago). To give a comparison, one Beano tablet contains 300GLU - the ones in this link only contain 100 ebay.co.uk/itm/Solaray-Vega...

The reason I mention it is because a couple of weeks ago my sister said she got a huge bottle of enzyme tablets via Amazon and they were quite cheap. We compared the amounts of various ingredients and in some cases, her contained less than 5% of the amount compared to the high strength ones I have from Holland & Barrett (neither contain alpha galactosidase)

It is a few years now since I tried Beano but when I was researching it, the info said the downside is that because the complex carbs (polysaccharides) are broken down into simple sugars, it can add 10% to the calorific value - also has to be taken into account for people with diabetes.

Anyway, just something you might want to try.

Also, I found some product give a different unit measurement than GLU - I forget what it is and how it compares to GLU - so makes it hard to compare some products.
