Hi all , I am 33 was diagnosed with Endometriosis and Dyspareunia 4 years ago by laparoscopy diathermy and insertion of Marina, to which i was I had some relief for roughly 6 months then late 2017 I was given Leuprorelin (Prostap, Lutrate) injections for 3 months these helped my cramps but the headache/ migraines were terrible.

I have now been left prescribed Codeine / Paracetamol & Naproxen for the pain, but my symptoms are just reverting i have another year left on the Marina ( which i am also dreading the removal off).

During the time of my period i get cramps really bad that move up to my chest, no bleeding though haven't had a full period since marina. During Ovulation time i get migraines, violent sickness. these go along with the ongoing headaches (daily), fatigue, bloating, acne (which is also getting worse)

I am currently off work have been for 3 days and just feel useless and that i dont think it would matter how much time i have off still feel like this, just feeling really down.

Doctors just send me to A&E who say its your Endo, tell me something i dont know.

Hey, how you feeling now? I was off work for a year with my Endo because I just couldn't function properly so I feel your pain. With you saying about the pain travelling upto your chest have you looked into Thoracic endometriosis? I'd advise if you aren't already under a specialist to try find one near your area normal gynaecologist can unfortunately miss alot specially if its not in common areas. Most forms of contraception etc unfortunately don't seem to work for a lot of girls but everyones bodies are different perhaps the coil could be adding to your symptoms though id speak to your Gp and it the advice remains the same maybe get a 2nd opinion. Hope you get some answers soon x
