Is one sided body weakness (muscle weakness) is curable after Meningioma resection?

Hi,It has been 1 year and 4 months, I had 100% removal of meningioma "grade 1" via craniotomy, 3.2 cm in size at the back of right hemisphere, My doctor told me the seizures will vanish away completely after meningioma resection, and the anticonvulsant/antiepileptic medications have been reduced to almost 75% as well. And Indeed I never had any seizures after the surgery. But, one thing that concerns me is my left side is slightly weaker, especially since my left foot is numbed all along. I have been doing physiotherapy all along. My only question is - will this muscle weakness on the left side of my body ever go away as well? Age - 29, Medical history - Never experienced any seizures before until a few weeks before my surgery.

Hi Zubi1: I don't know anything about your concerns, but I just wanted to reach-out and acknowledge what a shame that left-sided weakness is, especially since you're so young. Sounds like something you need to follow-up on and remember you are your own best warrior. I hope you find answers soon.

MimiSpree: Thank you for your encouraging words that means a lot to me. Also, I have been unemployed for almost 1 and a half year. I'm so happy, I got myself a job last week. I can do nothing but to just to forget the past and do what is in my hands. The only goal in my life is to cure my left sided weakness since I couldn't afford a regular visit to a pysiotherapist and respect the greatest provision of nature "The Life". It is sad that sometimes you learn the hard way and I'm one amongst those.

I also want to tell that pysiotherapy did improve my muscle weakness of left side, if this statement does encourage someone who has experienced something similar.

I had to use Phisiotherapy videos on You Tube during the pandemic. Hang in there. It socks, but maybe your new job will help. I believe my movements have help my brain/body adapt. BIG HUG!

I hope U.S Medicare policy have you covered for PT home services. Now the Pandemic has been curbed well by the authorities.

Absolutely not. My brain tumor has left my family broke. Because of my 24/7 vertigo, I fell down our stairway and tore three muscles off my shoulder. I went to a non-profit hospital for surgery, because they said they would accept what Medicare pays. Well, they are still charging me $13,000. That on top of over $20k from my portion of brain surgeries is my greatest stressor.

Wasn't this Medicare policy supposed to cover U.S citizens especially the elderly? I mean, I have worked with a Physiotherapy agency located in California. All the patients there - were treated under the Medicare policy, either it being the PT, OT or ST or social work all covered by the Medicare especially for senior citizens.

Medicare covers 80%.
