I have been diagnosed with cervical lymphadenopathy last Dec. Gene Expert reports revealed that Mycobacterium TB trace detected. My biopsy reports and my chest CT were completely normal. I was prescribed to take anti-TB medicines for 6 months. I have been taking medicines since Dec 2020. Looks like my lymph node swelling has also reduced and I am responding well to medicines and I am really happy about it. However I am confused if I am okay to take the vaccine against Covid now. I need some expert advice on this of I am okay to take my covid vaccination while I am taking my anti-TB medicines. Will it not have any negative impact?

Morning. The vaccine is both safe and effective even when taking drugs for TB. Did the doctors say where about your TB began I.e chest? Has it not been found anywhere else? It sounds like you are doing very well now, you are lucky they were looking for it as many don’t even consider it, leaving you un diagnosed.
