Zytiga

I’m still on Zytiga, Pred and Zoladex as my initial treatment and my PSA remains a steady 0.01. I get tired I’ve had muscle wastage but nothing that stops me getting out and about. I’m 3.5 years in and I’m still positive about the future, new treatments are being published all the time.

We planned to discuss steps following Zytiga/prednisone. As I look at these numbers, combined with feeling pretty good, my current mindset is to be patient and give the dexamethasone more time to interact.

My labs from today indicate a level 27, Can it be a side effect from ether the Lupron I have been taking for close to 8 years of the Zytiga I re-started about 6 months ago?

It's been almost three years battling the Beast and my treatments have been Zytiga, Xgeva, Eligard, and Provenge infusions still on them and don't intend to change unless Doc says so. Never give up never surrender. Leo

Does anyone have any tips for the stomach pain and nausea associated with Zytiga? We've tried Nexium and Zofran with no luck. He responded to IV Reglan in the hospital...is oral Reglan worth trying? Any other suggestions? 2.

He first tried Zytiga which worked for 4 months, then he was on chemo for 5 sessions. He developed a bad case of lymphedema and had to quit chemo. He is now on Radium 223 and Provenge. Just finished his last Provenge treatment and have 3 more Radium 223 left.

My husband kidney is showing abnormality after taking Zytiga, so he must switch to something else, thinking that one day he must go under chemotherapy is killing me, he is scheduled for radiation in few weeks and I know it is dangerous too and beside side effects, it can cause a secondary cancer, sorry

He is finishing up Zytiga after it lost its effectiveness pretty quickly. We are struggling whether to get him on Xofigo or try and get on a clinical trial that might be more effective? we need to make a decision quick to slow down this terrible illness. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Is 1 month enough time to have the Xtandi start working or not and does Zytiga would if Xtandi fails. Have not been able to talk to Doctor because of weekend in sort of a panic to as if I am running out of options. Any input would be appreciated from anyone experiencing a similiar situation.

At least my wife is with me: without Lupron, Zytiga, and other meds the last last few months may have been a hell of a honeymoon. Do any of you have plans which are superior to mine. Doug. ✌️

Gleason 9 rad prostectomy June 2016 37 session of rad and zytiga bliss 17 months to a short run of xtandi and now the chemo docetaxal road. With zometa and lupron. Any thoughts or feedback welcome, thankyou in advance... happy mothers day.

He's on Zytiga + Prednisone.. he has MCRPC (metastatic castrate resistant prostate cancer). It moved from his prostate area (prostate was removed) to the omentum, kinda like an apron hanging over the abdomen area. His current PSA is 0.26 and has stayed at that point the last 2 months.

We learned today that I am now castrate resistant, I have an appointment with the radiology oncologist tomorrow morning to get all of the pain will be starting Zytiga as soon as insurance approval goes through.

The Zytiga has an expiration date of 07/2020 (so only a few more months) and the Xtandi does not expire until April of 2021. I am happy to send them to anyone in need!

I have a free bottle of unopened Zytiga, 500mg for the asking.

I’m a stage 4’er and have been taking zytiga and lupron going on 27 months. I work out daily for 45 minutes and walk 12 miles every day. That said, my energy level is better than yesterday but less than tomorrow.

Casodex, lupron, taxotere, Zytiga, Xtandi, Keytruda, cabazitazel + carboplatin, xofigo (1 dose). Adenocarcinoma and neuroendocrine. PC now in his bone marrow. Trying low dose cabazitazel. Anyone done the same? He so tired.

MO advised for SBRT followed by addition of zytiga. What is the average duration Zytiga will act. He was on ADT for 3 years and lowest psa was <.008. Also with addition of wysolone is there a tendency to put on weight? Any other side effects as well?

Hi Everybody out there, could somebody point me to any study where prednisolone was replaced with dexamethasone (while taking Zytiga. Will the switch be likely to make any difference to help lower PSA? Thank you all.

Zytiga got PSA to 7. Stopped working in March PSA 30, started xtandi. PSA 70 just three days ago and blood work is all over the place.
