I plan on stopping zytiga, but if Lupron can keep me undetectable and keep it from spreading why stop? I’m sure I’m not the only one to reach this point. Any input is appreciated.

I would like to know if anyone out here who stopped ADT , Zytiga , Prednisone after 2 yrs and didnt need any more treatment except blood draws ? Remission . ? To me thats a Miracle . Please speak up and tell us of all your remissions especially the one that shares my path .

After my 6 sessions of chemo, PSA dropped to 5.6 In April 2021 started on Zytiga 500mg + Prednisone 5mg.

My treatments to date have been Zytiga, Eligard, Provenge So needless to say my Brothers it will be a joyful Christmas in this house. God is good . I wish you all the best for the holiday season. Never give up Never surrender. Leo

With the exception of a year-long holiday from treatment, I have been on Zytiga since October 2013. I am closing in on 10 years of this medication. Has anyone been on it longer. I am still so amazed it is working as well as it is working.

Boy, since diagnosed when psa was 1100, have gotten down to 5 (after chemo, then agin during zytiga). Maybe mine will always be elevated? Anyways, achey today, possibly good effect of treatment. One more, hopefully

Not great news but not too concerning at this point PSA 0.06 up from 0.03, 2 weeks ago. 0.12, 6 weeks ago Now back to 1000 mg of Zytiga (AA generic) without meals Real good new on liver numbers 9/28/22 CMP AST= 21 - normal range= 15-37 ALT = 19 - NR =16-61 Globulin =2.8 - NR = 2.8- 4.4

Can you please let me know the best time of the day or evening to take Zytiga. I know it is to be taken on an empty stomach. Thank you in advance for your help.

My cancer seems pretty aggressive. Whenever it starts to rise slowly after one treatment or another, 6 months later PSA starts rising quicker. I'd love to try Lute177 but lack the funds. Are there clinical trials available in the US?

I'm also on Zytiga and finished 44 IMRT 5 weeks ago. The cancer center is attached to a large hospital and they test the blood work in house. MO says everything looked great and that my PSA is now undetectable. The lab report says <0.0 ng/ml. PSA was performed using Roche Immunoassay method.

I have been on lupron and Zytiga the last 14 months with psa under .01 until 11/8 when my psa test came in at 0.27. This is of great concern to me and I’m trying to make decisions on where to go from here. My bio gives greater details of my situation. Thanks.

I've saw a few post and some discussion about this, but my Oncologist suggested a low dose of Ritalin to ward off some of the fatigue and brain fog I was having from Firmagon and Zytiga. I had been reluctant to take "another pill" that comes with more side effects...so I said not for me.

Lupron and Zytiga for 6 months, and then scans showed spread to cervical lymph nodes. Only 6 months to castrate resistant. Just finished 4th round of Chemo (Dox with Carboplatin) Scans after 3rd round showed resolved and smaller lymph nodes. Have a consultation with Dr.

With zytiga it went from 3,300 to under 1 very rapidly. Lu-177 is next. Just wondering what the rate at which the chemo is supposed to lower numbers.

Currently on Firmagon, Zytiga with Prednisone, Vit D, Metformin Will be starting Otelza for very severe made worse by ADT plaque psoriasis From what I heard there are some clinical trials and cancer centers/hospitals conducting surgery, radical prostatectomy for men with advanced metastatic prostate

But he also has a lot of old shadows that could be from the zytiga took care of and are just scars or from radiation treatment.

Lupron, Chemo and Zytiga. Got a pleasant surprise today as my blood numbers are all within suggested ranges, testosterone less then 1 and PSA of 0.09. Besides the meds, I’m hoping that my vegan diet and exercising are helping.

Also Zytiga w/Prednisone. PSA went down to 1. Two months ago my liver enzymes started to rise. Took a one month vacation from Zytiga. Liver enzymes came back to normal. Resumed Zytiga 2 weeks ago at half dosage. The Liver enzymes are starting to rise again.

My basic question is: Have some of you stopped buying abiraterone (generic Zytiga) through your Medicare Part D insurance provider and started buying abiraterone through one of the organizations like Good Rx or Cost Plus (Mark Cuban Co.)? Here, for example, is my situation.
