Methotrexate for conditions other than RA?
I currently take 7 2.5mg tablets once a week along with a daily folic acid, and
Zofran
on days I take the methotrexate. I was wondering if anyone takes methotrexate for a non-RA condition, or knows anyone else in a similar situation as mine?

The WORST illness I've EVER endured!!!
Of course, I am taking
Zofran
and I'm also on Lora-tabs for the pain. The problem is that these have caused major constipation, and now I'm taking probiotics, stool softeners and vitamins to try and keep my BM's moving.

Beating Down Chemo's Ill Effects
If you still start to feel nauseous, you can add
Zofran
to your arsenal; to be taken at the first twinge of upset. Diet may help fight nausea too. Eating five or six small meals throughout the day is easier on your digestion.

Went for my 12 week check.....
Anyway, I have been taking my
Zofran
anti-nausea meds and they seem to help somewhat. It doesn't take the sickness away totally but does "take the edge off" so that I dont cry and suffer so much!!!!!

Results for 8 week check-up
I have the nausea pretty much under control with my
Zofran
. The biggest problem for me right now is the fatigue. I have no energy and can hardly get motivated to even get dressed. I hate feeling like this but I know it is all part of the treatment and what I have to go through.

My 8 Week Check-Up
This
Zofran
has made a big difference for me. It has stopped the nausea and I am having very good days. My biggest sfx with the treatment was the nausea and I knew if I could get that under control, I wouldn't be having such a hard time. It is true.

Anybody used Zorac 0.1% AKA Tazarotene for psoriasis?
I have had a big flareup after coming off Dovonex (and midway through a divorce doesnt help!) and went to see the doctor. She put me onto Zorac 0.1% AKA Tazarotene and after using it most nights for a week has pretty much bought it back under control and it is looking heaps better - with these kinds

Medications and food to avoid, applies to most of us who has RLS. This is taken from the www.rlshelp.org website..
There are two newer anti-nausea medications available in t he USA, Kytril (granisetron hydrochloride) and
Zofran
(ondansetron hydrochloride) which do not affect the dopamine system and thus should be safe for RLS. The only problem with these medications are that they are very expensive.
