CA15-3 steadily rising
I am Ibrance/Faslodex/
Xgeva
for almost 2 years. Since July CA15-3 is rising. My latest bloodwork this week had it at 278. It is up by 84 from last month, last month was up 54. A very steady upward trend. I had CT scans in December and March that indicate stability in the bone mets.

Problems with gas?
I'm on iBrance and letrozole (and with
Xgeva
every 3 months). Recently I went from being constipated/taking stool softeners to sometimes diarrhea and a lot of gas. It is worse at night. I burp and have it at the other end, too.

Xgeva vs Zometa
Looking at clinical trials, it appears
Xgeva
has advantages. Has anyone else had luck with commercial insurance?

According to PSMA PET Scan all metastases found are in bones; so after discussion with Oncologist about options, Xofigo (Radium-223) is next
My VA MO says that he will be adding either
Xgeva
or Zometa to prevent bone fractures. We decided to go this route because I have at least 3 bone metastases that are on my spine and could possibly cause spinal cord compression and paralysis later.

Femur fracture caused by Xgeva
I’ve been on
xgeva
for 6 years for bone Mets. Monday’s bone scan showed a new focal spot. This led to an X-ray of my femur. It appears I have an insufficiency fracture due to the prolong use of
xgeva
. My oncologist is stopping the
xgeva
. Anyone else experienced this? If so what replaced the
xgeva
?

What Medicare Supplement Plan & Rx Plan Covers the Most Costs for MBC Patients?
I’m on IBrance , Faslodex &

Hello Again
I have been on Erleada + Lupron +
Xgeva
for 3 years now. I can’t get it up. I have been single for about a decade. I don’t care for the bottom bunk. Now, I have found out I need to use a catheter to void my bladder.

Cramps in Legs and feet
I am beginning my 4th yr on Ibrance, Letrozole, and (
Xgeva
every 3 mos.) I have been getting cramps in my feet that makes me feel like the bones are out of joint. Then the pain starts to travel up my leg to my calf. This happens mainly at night.

Stunned, scared, sad, but grateful and happy to be here!
Started Ibrance/Fulvestrant/
Xgeva
. First three month scans late Dec ‘21 showed amazing results. Everyone very happy. But started not feeling so great in Feb, including headaches. With six month scans last week, onc also ordered brain mri.

What kind timeline are we looking at?
He received his first dose on 8/27/2021 and has also continued
xgeva
and lupron every 3 months. Interim History: Patient presents to clinic today for follow up. He is feeling okay, but "lousy" compared to last few visits.

Self Injecction
I can self inject my Denosumab (
Xgeva
I think in US). This means I rarely have to attend the hospital from now on. My GP does my Zoladex injection and my meds are sent in the post. I go for bloods once a month and get a telephone appt following this.

Good Report
My only treatments so far have been Zytiga, Eligard, Provenge, and
Xgeva
which I was on for a year but stopped after it started causing jawbone loss I had to have dead bone removed twice.

What is the optimal length of time for taking Xgeva?
Spouse21 has been on
Xgeva
for nearly two years. What's the latest research on getting the most optimal benefit from it without staying on it too long? He does have some side effects of weird aches and pains for around a week after he gets the monthly shot.

13 year Battle with Stage 4 PC
Then he was offered a clinical trial of zytiga + Predisone with
Xgeva
every 6 weeks. He was on this trial for a year until lymph node involvement made him ineligible. The oncologist offered the chemo Taxotere - he had 3 infusions and scans showed no improvement and significant weight loss.
