My son is 10 and has just started 5th grade. He has struggled with ADHD since he was 4. He is also struggling with what I think might be SPD or anxiety. We are treating him for ADHD and anxiety. He does take medication in the morning that should last at least 7 hours, but he is still struggling

Happy Update š
It seems I have responded well to cortisone injections in both shoulders and Xeljanz. For the first time in three years I am walking again. I am currently walking 5 miles a day minimum. I am still tired but getting it done. I quit smoking in May. So I am not sure if improvements are from drug or my body

Metabolizing XR quickly
Does anyone have a child quickly metabolizing adderall XR? I thought it was supposed to last 6-8 hours but my 80 pound daughter metabolizes 10XR in less than 6 hours requiring another dose of quick acting after school or worse (because she has no appetite) another extended release. Is the dose too

Evening Medication
My 7 year old does very well on 10 mg of focalin XR during the day, but it typically wears off around 3 pm. The doctor said that is fine because it gets her through school. Her grades are fine, but she really struggles during her evening activities to the point of falling so far behind that she may not

12 yo with ADHD, Anxiety
My 12 yo daughter is on Vyvanse. This seems to help, but even with it, she has a lot of defiance, and anger outbursts. She has tried Adderall XR, but this was not lasting beyond a few hours, and she had a lot of obsessive thoughts. with Adderall. Any thoughts on what might work better for her? She has

For those who live in Mississippi do you know If the school district will allow your child to be on CBD oil?
Hello everyone! I was wondering if any if you are from Mississippi and if you are is CBD oil ok for children to be on in school? I also saw hemp oil at walmart(shocking) and I was wondering because it seems most medicines are not going to work since my son has both ADHD and ODD. We have taking him off

Xeljanz and knee pain
I was on Humira and leflunomide which was working great, but due to mouth ulcers doctor switched me to Xeljanz. After 5 weeks still experiencing severe knee pain, fatigue and sore throat. Just added leflunomide back 1 week. Xeljanz has helped remove nodules that I have had for 15 years so it is doing

Adderall & Adderall XR
I have been taking Adderall 30 mg, 2 in the am & 1 at noon for years. In November of last year, I went on Medicaid because I am disabled (I have Rheumatoid arthritis, among other things). Medicaid won't pay for my Adderall nor my opioid painkillers. When I explained my problem to my psychiatrist,

I have a 6 year old boy with ADHD and ODD. He takes focalin xr and it has helped him a lot. Iāve noticed though that when itās out of his system, he really has trouble communicating. For example, I could ask him a question and his answer will have absolutely nothing to do with what I asked. He sometimes

Hi everyone! The results are finally in! I decided a month after my son start Concerta 27mg to to the gene test to see if the drug is metabolizing in his system correctly. I am from Canada so the company I found is called BiogeniQ. The first week on Concerta I saw some changes but after that there

Hello to All
Hello, I've been just recently diagnosed with type 5 Limbic ADHD (and a lot of other types too lol) and I'm just starting the experimenting of what medications will work best for me and what won't. I also suffer from muscles back and neck pain, on top of really awful anxiety. I've just started taking

Quillivant xr and tachycardia
My daughter was diagnosed with atrial tachycardia when she was almost 2. She has been off of meds for about 4 years now with no episodes. She was just recently diagnosed with ADD and her so doctor prescribed the lowest dosage of Quillivant XR. Anyone have any experience taking it after being diagnosed

Just an update
So, we thought we had it all figured out with the Focalin XR, but after about 4 months, it began to loose its effectiveness and my son began experiencing more unpleasant side effects. We discovered that the Cyprohetadine or the combination of it and the Focalin was really making him miserable. An hour

Awful rashes! Help!
Hi all So Iām on methotrexate and xeljanz (biologic). Last few times Iāve missed a couple of doses of the biologic (the drugs were late coming into the pharmacy), Iāve been covered in itchy red hives all over my body and neck. The minute I take the biologic, the hives go away. What is going on?
