Well I posted about 5 months ago. My 9 year was on Adderall Xr at that time and tenex. We realized that the xr was giving him mood swings so we went back on the regular Adderall. The last 2 months my sons attitude has changed he has gotten very nasty and getting in trouble with other kids on the bus and in school at daycare. I’m at a loss. I’m in Pennsylvania and in the Lehigh valley area idk if anyone else is from this area but I was thinking of finding a therapist and new meds doctor and get some fresh ears on my sons diagnosis as idk what else to do. Any ideas where to start would be great !

My son was very aggressive on adderral. He has been doing better in Focalin with the Guanfacine at night. Both are extended release. Who is prescribing the medications? Our pediatrician recommended we seek the assistance of a psychiatrist. We now have a psychiatrist and a behavioral therapist. We have also done parent aid, counseling, and occupational therapy in the past. I would probably start with the psychiatrist and go from there. Good luck!
He has always had a psychiatrist and a play therapist is what they call it. I am in the process of switching psychiatrists at the moment hoping to have him re-evaluated. Thank you I’ll look into that medication.
