This is the third cough/ virus/ infection since November and they have knocked me for 6. Any advice?
I was encouraged to take my
Ventolin
inhaler more frequently which helped. At the end of January I had an almost identical cough, which lasted for about 10 days and last week I developed the same cough.

Asthma control
Started clenil 200, blue
ventolin
and steroids at 30mg 5 days ago but still not much improvement. Worse as soon as I wake up. Tried Fostair 3 times but did not agree with me, made me feel nauseous. Anyone else experienced this side effect ? My gp stopped it.

Ventolin Vs Salamol
Has anyone else been swapped from
Ventolin
to Salamol? I understand that essentially they are same drug and leave less carbon footprint but is it as effective as
Ventolin
? Thoughts please, Janzo

My medicene consists of Trimbow and
Ventolin
inhalers that don't appear to be helping. My question is what other medication might help so i can take a list with me to the Specialist or suggest to my Doctor. Many thanks.

Any good ideas welcomed!
I do all the usual - dress up like Michelin man, have the best face/nose/mouth cover I have had since this asthma palaver started and if cold, anywhere under 10 degrees, I at least consider taking
ventolin
before I go, ideally 15 minutes if I remember. But it is still so hard!

Combining inhalers
Hardly needed my
Ventolin
. My doc told me y’day that it can be how the medicine is delivered in inhalers that can cause problems and this was likely the case for me. Told me to stop taking it and I can’t believe the difference.

Relvar Elipta
I am on Relvar Elipta once a day, but am finding that it only works for about two to three hours, no more, I also take Spiriva once a day and
Ventolin
when needed. Does anyone else have this problem with Relvar, I seem to spend my life being breathless these days

Which Puppies work for mild asthma/allergy - medium/standard dog breeds that are hypoallergenic
(eyes itchy and asthma causing in-frequent use of
ventolin
inhaler etc). My asthma is under control without dogs/cats/hay/dust at the moment but don't want to introduce chest problems etc.

Inhaler change
I have just been sent a message by my GP to say they are changing my inhaler from
ventolin
to Salamol. Is there a reason for this and is Salamon just as good as
Ventolin
🤷♂️

Asthma/mucus flare up? Could be just weather change?
Only used blue
ventolin
inhaler one puff, prob once/twice a month etc. Was fine and then had the covid pfizer booster and feel as if needed it again a few times more frequently after 2 weeks or so. Now have that feeling of where mucus and breathlessness is increasing and occuring.

Any asthma sufferers relate ? I don’t yet know my diagnosis
It’s a blue inhaler named
Ventolin
. Do any asthma sufferers have a persistent rattle in their chest on exhale which never eases … only gets worse ? Also to add (and which may be connected) I seem to have developed allergies.

Post Covid
I had my third jab last Wednesday (Moderna) and since then my cough has gotten much worse and I have had an incredibly irritated throat ( as a result I have had to used my
Ventolin
many times) and my whole body is burning with itching. Has anyone else had a reaction like this?

Salbutemol Versus Ventolin
Would like to know what other people think about Salbutemol inhaler versus
Ventolin
. I have always found
Ventolin
to be the better option for me even though they are supposed to be exactly the same

(Part 4!) After 5 months on Forsteo
Her very supportive GP has prescribed Epipens and
Ventolin
inhalers because very quickly, Margaret's history of adverse reactions to drugs started to repeat as she began to have breathing difficulties with the start of asthma symptoms and lung problems following her morning injections.

Cold and asthma
So I again gave myself 4 puffs of
ventolin
. This has brought my peak flow back up to normal (500). My chest is sore and I am coughing due to the cold I think. I started a trial for a job today and am due back in tomorrow. Any advice please.

Breathe easy!
Have used
Ventolin
when necessary and Simbicort Morning and Night for over 40 years. If you get Thrush you have not rinsed your mouth and gargled after using the Simbicort.

Moved Montelukast to morning, worse symptoms
The dreams are now gone, but my asthma control has got noticeably worse, needing
Ventolin
regularly throughout the day. Has this happened to anyone else before?
