Question on venclexta and bruising.
I am in my seventh month of V&O treatment. Last Thursday I started an antibiotic (Bactrim) and a couple days into it I noticed what looks like bruises on my lower cheek on one side. It's not a typical allergic reaction. I feel fine no fever, UTI seems to be cleared up. Has anyone experienced any strange

Tumor Lysis Syndrome: What ( CLL ) Patients Need to Know (Leukemia and Lymphoma Society podcast)
Many of us are aware of the risk of tumor lysis syndrome (TLS) when we commence treatment, particularly with venetoclax and that the purpose of the venetoclax ramp-up, is to reduce the risk of TLS occurring. TLS can also occur with other CLL treatments, especially when they are fast acting, rapidly killing

venclexta cost
I am about ready to do O&V. I saw the price of venclexta on the net. It’s insane!! I have US Medicare part a and b only. I think I have no insurance for this drug. What am I supposed to do? Use up what savings I have. Sell my house and move into government housing. Am I missing something here ?

Rebound COVID after Plaxovid.
So I took a COVID test yesterday just for the heck of it since having COVID starting March 26 and was treated with Paxlovid. Well to my surprise it came back positive. I tested negative after 6 days on paxlovid. I have zero symptoms. I called my oncologist and he is pulling me off the Venclexta for 2

Final blood counts before final infusion of Gazyva. O &V treatment
Platelets 287 hemoglobin 14.7 WBC 4.9 will these improve when infusions end or does Venclexta usually lower them more? I know some of you know what to look for. I sure don't. They haven't been checking my IGG, IGM and IGA last one all were normal except IGA and it was slowly rising. Also Monocytes have

Has anyone had to deal with mouth sores? If so, what was your process?
I have been on Venclexta for about 2 months and am about to do my 3rd round of Rituxan next week. Though I’ve had a few hiccups, they side effects seemed to be manageable. It’s the mouth sores and lower jaw pain that have been so difficult to manage. I’ve tried salt water w/ baking soda rinses, orajel

Gazyva and Venclexta
Imbruvica, which has worked well for 2 1/2 years has stopped working and WBC are climbing. Next week I will begin Gazyva (infusions) and Venclexta. Has anyone else been on this regime and what info can you share about it? Thanks.

VENCLEXTA’s impact
Hello everyone, I wanted to ask others their experience with VenClexta and memory loss. I am in month 10 and it is overwhelming the forgetfulness that I am experiencing. Your mind asks tje question is it permanent ? it’s a bit frightening. I have faced chemo many times as a 25 year CLL survivor

Insurance question
I am currently in treatment for CLL with Gazyva and Venclexta. I just was looking at my explanation of benefits and it looks like my copay for the Venclexta would be over $4000 per month. I am currently getting copay assistance from the manufacture, but my question is what happens when you are on Medicare

Blood work insight needed.
I'm a couple days in on full dose Venclexta with no side effects, but my cbc after day one of 400ml was a bit out of wack. WBC a tiny bit low, lymphocytes a little high and leukocytes a little low. Absolute numbers still in normal range and platelets at 277. I'm guessing these numbers are more reflective

Venclexta users question.
So question to people on Venclexta. Do you ever feel a weird sensation in your lymphnodes? I swear everytime I ramp up, I can feel it in my lymphnodes and spleen. I can't describe what it feels like not painful or anything. Does this happen to anyone else or am I cra cra?

Weight Loss with VenClexta
Morning family, I am a 24 year CLL patient. I have been on 140mg of Ibrutinib daily for the last 8 years. 8 months ago my Dr. added VenClexta to my regimen at 400mg daily. I initially had a hard time with nausea and vomiting daily. I now have that mostly under control with a rare episode of vomitting

Venclexta Question
Can any of my fellow Venclexta takers tell me when you reach 400ml is that 4 pills a dose? I see the 200ml is two big pills. I just bumped up to 100ml today. So far so good. I haven't even felt any effects from any of the dose ramp ups as of yet. Fingers crossed.

O & V treatment and lymph nodes
Please can someone who has CLL and swollen neck nodes tell me how long into treatment with Gazyva and Venclexta does it take for nodes to shrink and stay shrunk. Mine go down when I get the the steroid with treatment but return in about 5/6 days. I'm so discouraged. Haven't started Venclexta yet.

VenClexta side affects… Has anyone figured out how to stop the nausea and vomiting ?
Hi I’m a 24 year CLL patient. I have had my share of chemo treatments and battles with mucor mycosis lung infections, sinus infections the entire gamut. I recently started VenClexta about 4 months ago. Once ai reached the full dosage, I have to say for me it may be worse than my most intense chemotherapy
