Ductopenic Variant anybody?
By aggressive if
Urso
is not working and Ocaliva not being used, I am presuming transplant. I just want to wake up like I did last year and feel itchy and tired and put it down to 24-hour care for Granny and menopause. Tagging PBCRobert I feel I need to bend your ear again?

Oclavia
I read that for years,
Urso
was the only available drug in Europe. Mortality rate was high among women there who could not tolerate
Urso
. So Europe was the driving force to get Oclavia going. I believe it said Oclavia is now available in 27 or 28 States. Mine came from South Dakota.

What can biopsy show the MRCP did not?
I'm sure the
Urso
is working though. I'm getting less yellow by the day. My eyes were the color of lemons a week ago and now we're closer to lemonade. 😃

The jaundice is clearing by the day, so I'm hoping the
Urso
is working. As a note, I was jaundiced to the core when I had my baby June 29th, almost 12 weeks ago.

Feeling confused, frustrated and worried.
Urso
is not bringing them down, 4 weeks before this appointment I had a letter saying second-line treatment to be discussed.

I have been taking 9mg of budesonide steroids and u 10 ml twice a day of
urso
acid for these conditions and my blood levels have all come down to within normal range, but I still feel rough. Anyone else on the same meds and feeling the same?

. 😃 Another thing is, I really think the
Urso
is helping because I'm less yellow.. still pretty yellow all over, but it seems to be getting a bit better. He asked what all they were doing for me and seemed very happy overall.

URSO intake Time table
This disease is really surprising, yesterday I was doing great and I had my
Urso
2,5 hrs later than I used to and went to bed. At 4:00 am woke up with sickness and a pain from my diaphragm to my lower tummy, cramps like gases and I could not sleep any longer.

Ocaliva and side effects
Hi all,
URSO
isn't working for me as it should. I was diagnosed 2 years ago and my Alk phos results was over 1000. They are now at 299 but still not reducing as they should. I've been offered to change to Ocaliva or to take part in a clinical trial.

Liver biopsy
I was told to take 1000mg of
urso
instead of 750 until I get results from a biopsy which I had yesterday to see what's going on. Has anyone had a biopsy? Wondering how long it takes before getting back to normal. Such as the pains afterwards . I've taken the day off work.

Short Lived responder to Urso
My ALP's have always been very high but were coming down and once the
Urso
was increased to the correct dosage for my weight in June I was expecting even better drops, I really did not expect it.

Has anyone had all these symptoms and has the
Urso
and diet changes helped? I also have bone, joint and muscle pain.

I was referred to a GI who prescribed
Urso
. I began taking it Aug 2 & developed slight itch. I thought nothing of it until I developed hives. So, as of Friday, I was taken off
Urso
& GI is trying to get me on Oclavia. This is a very expensive drug, upward of $6,000 on GoodRx.

PBC and painkillers
I am now taking
URSO
. I have Arthritis and joint pain in my hands, feet and knees. Prior to diagnosis I was taking Naprosyn every day. I have been advised I can never take Naprosyn again, I cannot tolerate codeine. I now have Paracetamol during the day which does not touch the pain.

Really ticked off
So, I haven't been on here in a while and you may or may not remember, I could not tolerate
urso
at all. I lost my hair, I was nauseous all the time, I itched like crazy and my stomach aches woke me up at night. I have been off of it over 2 years, feeling fine I might add.
