tsh undetectable
When I express that I was told by the thyroid GP I saw privately that this is normal to have the low
tsh
. He said this is rubbish. I am not sure what to do! Thanks 😊

I am so mad, i told them not to test me for
TSH
at the time as i had eaten and it was mid day. They are now ignosing my private blood test as this was done later. Its gas lighting - any excuse not to see me as a patient. Its so unfair. Even this test was 2.95. Getting so fed up with it all.

Back to square one
I retested yesterday (been off medication for 5 months) and now have the following:B12 46.4 (37.5 to 188) VIT D 64.9 (50 to 250)
TSH
5 (0.27 to 4.2) Free T3 4.3 (3.1 to 6.8) Free T4 12.5 (12 to 22) I know I need to sort my vitamin levels but how should I sort my hypothyroidism?

Am I now hyperthyroid? Still struggling to loose weight
TSH
0.09m/uL (only one they checked) Is this now too low? I'm still really struggling to lose weight. Sleeping much better but still having hot flushes. I'm currently trying to reduce my food intake - trialling not eating after 8pm (I like late night snacks) and nothing before 10am.

Opinions on blood results
My blood test in October showed
TSH
just under 1. Tests a couple of weeks ago 4.71. The whole reason I went for another test and appt was because I know my level isn’t right. All my symptoms are back. Basically the GP has refused any increase because I’m in range.

TSH level increase after total thyroidectomy(8 years ago)
Recently, I had a knee surgery and during a subsequent blood test, my
TSH
level was checked and found to be 4.5. However, I had taken my medication (euthyrox 150mg) on the morning of this blood test. Therefore, the test was repeated and in the new test, the level was seen as 22.

TSH
: 2.72 mu/L (range 0.55 to 4.78) free T4 level: 11.6 pmol/L. (Normal range: 9.5 to 22.7) I didn't actually go to the doc thinking thyroid or diabetes, I was asking for a diuretic as I felt sure the weight gain was water retention for MS medication I take.

My

elevated 6.5. MD wanted to increase levothyroxine dose, I asked to wait. After 30 days, I’m more tired, frequently cold, wt gain, etc. Am I on the correct Metformin dosage? Anyone else use Metformin for Hashimotos? Does it help? Any advise would be appreciated Thank you

signs of mild hypothyroidism?
In March 2023 my
TSH
was 0.98 (range 0.27-4.2), and my T4 was 15.5 (range 12-22) - this was done with a private GP so sadly no T3. These bloods were taken after 12pm and not fasted. So perhaps this could affect things in relation to my newer results below.

Help with results appreciated
The
TSH
is lower than in 2020 (when it was 3.7), the Free T4 is slightly higher (16.2 in 2020), but the Free T3 is lower than it was (5.24).

unusual test results
I have been on 75 mcg levothyroxine for a number of years but my latest blood tests show
tsh
4.6 and T4 19. This has been repeated 3 times now just to be sure and the results are the same. I always take the thyroxine at least an hour before breakfast.

T3 and T4
My Endo is a
tsh
puritan and when challenged about ft3 levels he said they don’t count as they don’t show what is in the tissues. Very frustrating. He is very blase about it all.

Do My Symptoms Have Anything To Do With My Lowered Levo?
TSH
- 0.04 [0.32 - 4.94] T4 - 14.8 [9.0 - 19.0] Do you think all these new problems could be down to the lower dose and I need to raised again? Thank you. I can’t afford private blood tests.

TSH results -sudden change -aberant high reading of 17.5
Subsequently I had been optimistic that the new/ recent
TSH
test would have been positive and within normal range. For information , when still at the 75mmg the
TSH
reading was 3.9 , now after 10 weeks at 50mmg the reading is 17.5 ... can anyone offer me expert opinion please?
