I have just had a set of results back and they r as follows:
TSH
1.44 (0.27-4.2) T4: 16.6 (12.0-22.0) T3: 7.1 (3.1-6.8) As you can see my T3 is too high. I take 75mg of T4 each day And 10mg T3 three x a week. Is lowering my T3 as simple as reducing the amount I take?

thyroid trouble please help!
We can’t find a reason for this but my GP did some bloods that showed a normal T4/T3 but a
TSH
of 3.7 which is the upper limit of the normal range. I have been begging to trial thyroid hormone replacement but my GP insists that this is not indicated due to my normal T3/4.

Graves Blood Test food or not to food ...
she then told me that with T4 and
TSH
it's important to eat something to "get the blood flowing". She was totally lovely etc, but just wondered if anyone else has been told this?

Insights on 4 years of results?
I asked last year too, but they were only willing to measure
TSH
. I have read on this forum that I should also get Vit D, B12, iron, and ferritin tested, alongside free T3 and free T4. I feel tired and have massive brain fog, often. Thank you so much.

T4 to T3 conversion
No changes to any meds and supplements and
TSH
and T4 levels are on a par with where they've been for several years. Ferritin is low but I suspect it's been that way for a long time.

Thyroid UK 🦋 Skydive is this week! 🪂🪂
A few weeks ago she went on a fundraising drive offering to do 5km runs for every £50 donated and bless her, with a
TSH
of 5.8 she has battled through and completed all her runs. (We are working on that
TSH
don't you worry!)

Thyroid Free T4
TSH
- 1.67 Free T4 - 17.3 In my previous post I touched on the fact that I still wasn't feeling right to my GP and they advised my results were perfect. However from reading on here and receiving advice from you lovely people I know that ideally I should be around 1 or thereabouts.

new hypo diagnosis but overheating not cold
My
Tsh
is High and my T4 low and they have given me a starting dose of 25mg Levo. One of the worst symptoms for me has been an absolute inability to tolerate heat and I'm booking all of the time, but I thought that was a Hyper symptom.

Introduction and help navigating our NHS for Thyroid hormone replacement. Tips and support needed as it's a very tricky business.
Been on my autoimmune thyroid journey for a few years now, was on 125mcg teva for a while, this dose almost suppressed the
tsh
, lowest was 0.003, it did however rise to 0.03. Gp reduced dose to 100mcg and
TSH
has now risen to 2.1.

Iodine supplements caused enormous spike in TSH levels in 2 months, anyone else had this?
My results came back and the
TSH
level had spiked to 14 mU/L, FT4 showed a slight improvement - 11.8. pmol/L, FT3 and T4 are in range. The spike in
TSH
over 2 months has terrified me, I am assuming its the iodine intake as that is the radical change to my diet.

Secondary hypothyroidism
Has anyone had problems with central hypothyroidism and their
tsh
going to zero. Doctor refusing to raise levothyroxine because it will suppress
tsh
to much but my free t4 really needs a raise. Does a low
tsh
really cause afib and osteoarthritis or is this false.

Help interpreting results please
I was knocked back from taking 100mcg levo to 75mcg by a doctor who doesn't know me when my
TSH
lowered because I was newly on T3. Of which I take 10mcg daily.
