Chest infection at asthma review appointment.
Asthma nurse has changed my inhaler to
trimbow
also and said that because my sputum didn't show anything, that I couldn't have had a chest infection. She thinks post nasal drip is the cause but I am on a nasal spray which helps. Surely though post nasal drip wouldn't cause crackles on lung though??

cataracts b.c. of long-term steroids
I was not good with rinsing my mouth after having switched to
Trimbow
from Seretide. Before, I could feel the Seretide "powder" in my mouth, so I normally would rinse it; with
Trimbow
I do not feel anything (feels like Vontolin), so I became sloppy.

Trouble with inhalers
and that, that was what he wanted me to do, and it seems like everyone wants me to use the
Trimbow
even though it doesn't feel right.

Trimbow and Blood Sugar Level
Has anyone found their blood sugar level going up when using a
Trimbow
inhaler? If yes, what if anything did you do about it? Thanks for listening.

Update on tests etc
Started the
Trimbow
167/5/9 this morning ( surgery took weeks to issue the prescription!), so early days, but it has made me extremely dizzy ( never had that issue with Relvar & Incruse) and all 'on edge' so hope that doesn't keep happening! Time for my saline nebs now. We plod on! Xxx

COPD medications
She previously tried
trimbow
, but this made her wheezy all the time and she ended up hospitalised. I just wondered how common is it still to be on clenil with pretty advanced COPD? Is there a better steroid inhaler she should be on?

MY COPD REVIEW - Really.
Right - She started talking inhalers - I though "Wait for it) and yes, she said I probably would be better on
Trimbow
rather than three inhalers.

Palliative care, does it still exist?
He changed me from 3 inhalers to just

. Said I should go on full time oxygen and was to be given palliative care. After 2 weeks I chased my local GP's surgery to get the

. The oxygen nurse came last week.

Struggling with asthma and god knows what else
And I was on trombow dry powder but it gave me oral thrush so I went back to my pressurised inhaler of
trimbow
and I seen the GP yesterday and told me to continue the dry powder one if it helps better.

Asthma tablets Montelukast & Azithromycin
my GP has changed my inhaler from fostair 100 mg 4 puffs a day to
Trimbow
172/5/9 four puffs a day. I am giving this ago as every year in the winter I get a chest infection and end up on steroids and antibiotics. My question is on some tablet form I have been offered above .
