Trelstar?
Prior to seeing it mentioned on this board I'd never heard of
Trelstar
. I've used Firmagon and Eligard and have certainly heard of Lupron...but my Uro never once mentioned

Firmagon for the first month followed by
Trelstar
6 month shot.(because we were headed to Florida for the winter). Oncologist added Zytiga with Prednisone during the first month. PSA went to 4.2 after the first month, and now down to 1.4.

Should I do more?
This time
trelstar
only; stopped casodex and dutasteride. Had sbrt to two bone nets. So I’m still castrate sensitive (T = 9.0) after 4 1/2 years of IADT and SRT to mets discovered on each holiday in 2015, 2017 and 2018. See profile for details.

PSA stopped rising!
After doubling every two months after stopping ADT3, I had a PSMA scan which found two new bone mets and went back on
trelstar
and exgeva . Psa , which was headed for 3.4 from 1.7, came down to 1.4. Now I’m applying sbrt to the mets. I believe this means that I’m still hormone sensitive? Bob

What to do next after RP and RT?
In June I started 30-days of bicalutamide followed by a 6-month shot of ADT (
Trelstar
). I underwent 37 sessions of IMRT beginning in July. My post-RP PSA was .01. My post-IMRT PSA is undetectable as of two months ago—I’m scheduled for another test in January.

My Next Step?
He was treated with hormonal inj, currently on
trelstar
every 3 months , Zytega, prednisone daily, xofigo every month and Xgeva monthly. His Oncologist, great guy, had an accident and is currently out. His two sons, part of the practice, do not have a great reputation.

No Partner. Is it Realistic or Even Right To Seek One?
RO told me I could stop Casodex and forego my 3-month
Trelstar
shot, due next week. I'll stay on Avodart for now. I'm 68. My SEs from ADT have been moderately severe....looking forward to getting relief there. Coping with this without a partner has been not great.
