Coming off SSRIs and people's experience of Xaggitin XL
I am on 36mg of Xaggitin XL. I don't take it until lunch time because it wears off after about 8 hours and that's no use to me in the afternoon/early evening. I use coffee to get me through the morning. I have a med review tomorrow so hopefully I can get some advice/answers regarding what's best going

ADHD Symptom Diary
Hi people, I've recently been put on Concerta XL, and I'm looking to increase the dose. However, I also need to be able to monitor not only side effects but my day to day state of mind to give me a baseline to work from when I'm trying to establish if I am actually getting better or not. Does anyone

Heart rate too high
I had a second ablation two weeks ago as I reverted to AF after 18 months from the first ablation. Everything was going well until a few days ago when my heart rate shot up to 113bpm. Phoned hospital who told me to take Adizem XL 240mg every day and sent a prescription to my pharmacy. Heart rate now

12th Trip to Resus with different outcome
Hi. I am new to this forum. I hope I can find some info about my ongoing heart problems experience. 5 years ago I had my 1st trip to Resus with a heart rate of 200bpm. I was given a bid single dose of amiodarone and HR dropped to normal fairly quickly. I then stayed in the cardiac unit for 4 days

Oh My God 😯 Three dazed and confused Cardiologists.
Some not so junior heart specialists just admitted they don't know what to do with me. An angiogram showed a narrowing of the Lateral Anterior Descending coronary artery that's near two smaller branches. I've unsucessfully tried three vasodialating medications but can't tolerate them due to constant

Worrying Kardia ECGs.
I'm under investigation for angina and have an appointment on May 4th at the local Rapid Chest Pain Clinic (not very rapid as I've been waiting for many months). Today I experienced chest pain again on a short (15 min) walk and took a couple of Kardia 6L ECGs on my return. The first (above) seems to

Heart muscle thickness.
I had to go to A and E today because of chest pains this morning. They said that the thickness of the heart muscle was slightly above the upper limit of 14 at 16 (I don't know what the unit is). When I asked what this meant, they said it could be angina "in view of your other symptoms", or it could

Angina questions
In May I have an appointment at the chest pain clinic to determine whether I have angina or something like costachondritis. The GP thinks it's probably not angina, but says she cannot be sure and wants to send me there "because of your heart history and AF." About 30 minutes ago I went for a walk. As

Elvanse & Concerta XL : Worth persisting?
I was diagnosed some years ago with mild ADD. I was initially prescribed Elvanse, it was like a miracle, amazing clarity of thought! However, 2 days in it made me feel sick. I switched to Concerta XL, same problem. Sweating, dizziness, nausea. I gave up after about 3 days and never returned to the meds

Angina versus Costochondritis
I have noticed that when walking or cycling, after about 15 minutes or so, I get a pain on the left side of the chest. Typically this stops when I get home. It feels like an ice cube is pressed against the chest, a sort of freezing sensation. The pain doesn't spread anywhere else and I don't feel out

Xaggitin XL no effect
I’ve been recently diagnosed with ADHD combined type (aged 41) I’ve spent a lifetime assuming I have depression, before something prompted me to find out more about ADHD and then everything made sense! I’ve always struggled with motivation and work- it’s as if there’s a force field around the things

Can APS be contrubutury to angina?
Hi. So I know that antiphosphipid syndrome can cause miscarriage, and stroke. But can it be the cause of angina?
