My

thyroid peroxidase (TPO antibodies) test - results time - waiting
Hey everyone, 3 going on 4 weeks ago I had the antibodies blood test to see if I have Hashimoto's and the doctor has said I need to wait 6 weeks for the results to be in? She told me this after being confused about the wait time. Is this right? Online it says within days? What’s your experience?

Reversed my Hashimoto's with dietary and lifestyle changes
All my thyroid hormone levels were normal but my anti-
TPO
antibodies were out of range. I had all the usual symptoms: fatigue, weight gain and then the inability to lose weight, hair loss, dry skin, you name it.

Can anybody explain what TGAB antibodies are?
My
TPO
antibodies are 556 iu/ml and I know that means that I have hashimotos. However my TGAB antibodies are 12.9 iu/ml, which is at the bottom of the normal range (range 0 - 115). I just wanted to know what the significance of TGAB is. Thanks

Blood test results- have been referred to endocrinology based on these!
I went back for my thyroid blood tests 6 weeks after elevated TSH levels had been flagged up on my last blood test. (See previous posts) My TSH levels are just in range this time but my GP has referred me to an endocrinologist based on my thyroid peroxidase antibody being very high. (See previous posts

Confusing symptoms
Firstly i'm getting weird bicep spasms so theres that, but the main question is related to my Hashimotos, or is it, my
TPO
levels were high which my endocrinologist said was most likely hashi, which other doctors have supported, but another marker for that is weight gain, and i am losing weight FAST
