TSH labs
Two weeks ago my TSH was 1.80 with a steady dose of 50mcg of
tirosint
for six weeks. Started an increase at that time of 13mcg more of
tirosint
, but still felt under medicated. Just had labs done again and it's now 1.10 !

What could be the cause of restless leg syndrome
Recently added the following to my husband’s routine and he seemed to be more alert but this morning saw his left leg shaking intermittently 1. Coffee cherry 200 mg increased to 2x a day Suppose to increase BDNF by 141% 2. Ubiquinol 200 mg increased to 3x a day 3. Tryptophan 1000 mg at bed time

Help with Lab Results
I am on 137 mcg
Tirosint
(taken 24 hours before labs) and 20 mcg Cytomel ( 5 mcg taken12 hours before labs). I stopped the B12 a week before the labs. I'm not sure why the lab did not test Ferritin. I think iron labs look low. D is adequate. B12 could go up a bit.

Big weight lost but still exhausted. Has anyone else experienced this?
I was on 88 Evthyroxin 4/5 days a week, alternating with 75
Tirosint
. (Though I’ve been advised to up Levo to 100, I’ve tried so often and it knocks me off my feet.) So now I’m on 88 Evthyroxin only. We’ll see. I’m still exhausted and brain-foggy.

Are there any patients in the uk taking
Tirosint
? If so I'd be interesting to hear about about any experiences with the medication and if they managed to get it through the nhs?

From 4500 possibilities, one compound emerges as promising treatment for PAH
One of the dangerous health conditions that can occur among premature newborns, children born with heart defects, and some others is pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Commonly mistaken for asthma, this condition occurs when blood vessels in the lungs develop excessive resistance to blood flow.

Tirosint in USA
In case it is of any relevance, there is now a Lannett product - manufactured by IBSA (who make
Tirosint
) - which appears to be the exact same product. Details of the product available here: https://dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailymed/drugInfo.cfm?

My doctor wants to reduce my t4 in half.
I take
tirosint
50mcg (levothyroxine capsule) and cytomel 5mcg. She wants to reduce my dosage to 25mcg and keep the cytomel 5mcg. She said on the former thyroid dosage I was hyperthyroid and I wanted to know if my body would adjust. Did anyone here have to lower t4 with their t3 hormone medication?

Chapter 17. I dream of the revolution that must come... 1/2
This is chapter 17 of a book I published in 2015, "A Different Way of Looking at Parkinson's. Almost 20 years of experience with my father's disease (1994-2012)" (only in Spanish). Although we have learned a lot more since that year, I think it can still be useful to most sufferers and family members
