salbutamol and hands
hi everyone, I use Fostair and salbutamol, alongside tiotropium. My hands have been so shaky and sore since flare up which was in November. This makes my hands hard to use and very painful. Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions on how to support the pain and shakiness? Doctors just dismiss

Any advice?
Hi all, 👋 I was wondering whether some of you lovely people might be able to give me some advice. Apologies in advance for this super long message! 😅 Back in 2017 I had two really bad exacerbations with my asthma, involving lots of pred and antibiotics, which led to me moving from fostair to seretide

hi I have just been prescribed a Braltus inhaler of tiotropium bromide for COPD . I am worried about side effects as I have paroxysmal atrial fibrillation and am worried it may trigger an attack of AF. Has anyone any experience of using this medication . Thank you

Trimbow eligibility??
ok so I’ll reply to you all on my other post shortly, thank you all for your support!! I was thinking of asking my GP to step down my Seretide from 125/25 to 50/25 because the steroid is definitely doing less for me than the long acting reliever. I was also going to ask to switch back from Atrovent

Seeking help
My asthma has been very unsettled this past few days. Usually fairly well controlled on Fostair, Qvar and Tiotropium. However, woken up wheezy/coughing last 4 nights, and had a few attacks during the daytime. Increased inhalers as per plan, and using spacer for salbutamol but want some advice on what

Spiriva unavailable.
Morning all. Hope your weekend has been a good one. I have just had a phone call from Boots to tell me that Spiriva is out of stock with them and at the manufacturers! I was offered an alternative called Tiogiva which I have never heard of but, on Googling, appears to contain the same amount of tiotropium

Help with Inhaler use identification
Hi, I've had a good look online but cannot find much other than scientific medical papers (which aren't much help), but I'd like to know specifically whats in my inhalers, what they are for, and which overlap with each other. They are: Flutiform, Symbicort, Tiotropium (Sprivia respimat), Striverdi

Add on drugs that are usually prescribed by a consultant part 1 (LAMAs, add-on inhalers, theo)
Hi everyone - it’s been a while! Here is the next (probably long awaited 😅) infomercial! Here are some of the drugs commonly prescribed by a local consultant. That being said, GPs can (and do) prescribe a lot of them, but I’d suggest if you’re on one of them and are not under a hospital consultant (

Anyone else on Tiotropium - Braitus (via a Zonda inhaler)
Anyone else on Tiotropium - Braitus (via a Zonda inhaler) have been on this just 2 weeks and feel absolutely brilliant - was a bit dubious at first due to listed side effects but am really glad I was finally prescribed it. Lung consultant told me back in Feb he was prescibing it and said he would write

Sensitive teeth, Tiotropium?
Hi all, my teeth have been quite sensitive for a while but in the last few months they've got a lot worse. I've also had mouth sores/ ulcers which I don't usually suffer from. I started using Tiotropium/ Spiriva about 6 months ago and I'm now wondering if it's a side effect of that? The ulcers have

Spiriva Respimat
Is Spiriva Respimat effective for reducing sputum? I appreciate that its supposed to serve that purpose, but would appreciate knowing if Users think it actually does. Thanks in advance for any comments about it. Ps The list of common side-effects was a long one, and the following extract taken from
