Amlidopine and Tildiem

Does anyone take Amlodopine and Tildiem together ? x

Good morning Snowyow, I was taking them together for about a week when Tildiem was first prescribed to me in Hospital, when I requested my GP Surgery to add them to my Regular Prescription the Doctor rang me to tell me to Stop the Amlodopine as they are Both Calcium Channel Blockers for Blood Pressure Control, so I would confirm with your Doctor if this is Correct, I will say that I feel my Blood Pressure was better controlled when on Amlodopine, but that maybe just me, but as I said I would speak with your Doctor to ask the question, your Doctor’s opinion would be interesting to compare with mines opinion, hope this helps you. Thank you Bluesman, my EP prescibed me Tildiem yesterday but i came home and wasnt sure he checked that i am already taking amilodopine, i will like you say check with GP

That’s good at least you have got it sorted, it’s a shame that when you are prescribed medication by any member of the medical fraternity they don’t ask you to confirm what medication you are already taking, as I said the only way mine was highlighted was because I contacted my GP to have the new medication added to my regular prescription, it’s a warning to everyone really. John

Since they are both calcium channel blockers it would be wise to query this.
