over medicated new dosage help!
hi lovely people, over the past 18 months I’ve slowly lost 21lbs. Over the past week I have noticed I am having over medicated symptoms (I have been overmedicated before so know what to look out for). I am currently on 100mcg levo and 10mcg lio. Do you think I would be better taking 75mcg levo with

My first time posting. I am not sure if a message this long is allowed so I do apologise. I was seeing London consultant as have Hashimotos. Was moved from Levothyroxine 75 every day in November 2023 to Novothyral 75 every day instead as apparently my T4 wasn't converting to T3 very well. Took

Can some Levothyroxine brands cause gastritis/reflux?
Hi everyone, I'm hoping to get some advice. I've been taking 75micrograms Levothyroxine since 2017. I've never been referred to an endocrinologist. I have had long term digestive issues since my gallbladder was removed 30 years ago, but symptoms were controlled until the last 18 months. I was not

Increased bloating, gas and burning sensation in throat (?heartburn). On NDT
I am currently using NDT, and I have been taking Thyroid S for several years with varying batch success. I have just started a new batch 23T01008. I have also been trialling Roseway Labs Compounded NDT on and off due to the fewer ingredients to see if it suited me better as I have not been feeling optimum

Free t3 stayed good at 2.70 range of 2.18 to 3.98, my free t4 dropped drastically to .78 range .76 to 1.46 and my tsh shot up to 9.12 range .36 tp 3.74. My question is what causes the free t4 to drop so drastically without meds but the free

TSH level when on levothyroxine
Hi all, very quick question ahead of a GP appointment (first one since prescribed levothyroxine 2 years ago - initially 50 then moved up to 75). Thyroid blood tests then revealed although levels just in ranges, high antibodies so diagnosed Hashimoto’s. Had gone in to GP thinking was menopausal (age

Re-tested, any thoughts on this ?
Hi, I'm on levo for 2 months but last 6 weeks on 50mcg and been re-tested last week and just get results now but GP only tested TSH nothing else regarding thyroid ... I was feeling not best past two weeks and was hoping for dose adjustment but she said I'm on correct dose, but I feeling bit like before

Mannitol
I’ve been pretty rubbish with compliance of my levothyroxine up until 12 months ago when I made a concerted effort to take every day. Since then I have had significant health problems but normal TSH and free T4. My symptoms have been allergic in nature with angioedema of the airway, hives and joint pain

Advice please- should I increase T3 a little now, as advised by prescriber or do bloods first?
Looking for some advice. I’m a few weeks into an increase of levo, back up to 100mcg from 75mcg. I was advised by my prescriber to do this and then to increase my T3 v slowly to get to 20mcg from my current 10mcg. I take both meds together overnight and don’t split my T3. The increase in levo has made
