Thoughts on clinical trial
I'm not too concerned about the first arm of the treatment if I get on that one because that involves
taxol
which is already proven. The other two arms I'm just a little nervous about. If anyone has any thoughts for me on this please let me know.

Debulking Update and now will Finish Last Three Rounds
The path was good, all visible cancer was gone with abdomen and only needed to remove organs so now 3 more treatment of
taxol
/carbo. So now they originally thought it was PPC, then switched to OC, now they believe is is now Womb Cancer.

Caelyx proposed.
After 9 years of
Taxol
/carbo for ovarian cancer, we've come to a stage where my consultant is offering me either Caelyx, or end treatment altogether (quality of life). The Caelyx may give me more time, but at issue is the quality of that time.....

After Surgery Report - OC recurrence
If you have had carbo/
taxol
, how did you deal with the extreme constipation from chemo? I am asking because this time, they repaired my umbillical hernia as well as reattached small intestine. Thanks all and hugs from me.

Side effect: Nail bed pain, darkening and lifting
I am on
Taxol
(one more round to go thank God) and I am experiencing this. None have lifted yet but it feels like its on its way to doing so. Even typing this post is painful.

Update to liver Mets and other issues from scan
One arm will be
taxol
only, the second arm is
taxol
plus a reovirus or something like that. It is an immunotherapy trial which has had some success for patients with her2-positive type. But I am her 2 negative and er positive.

Currently on Avastin. Hands seizing up badly and Painful stiff shoulders. Anyone had the same?
I had 6 x
taxol
and carbo wich finished in December 2019. I've been having Avastin since my 2nd chemo infusion. Avastin is continuing but I've had to postpone #13 infusion. I've mentioned before on this forum about my painful stiff shoulders...

Anyone else have this happen?
I completed the standard carboplatin,
taxol
and avastin. I am on maintenance Avastin. My latest bloodwork shows CA125 increasing and gyno-oncologist "felt something in there" today. CT Scan tomorrow.

taxol
. My CA125 has been under 8 until a few months ago. It’s been doubling monthly since and now is at 84. Had ct scan last week. it was confirmed today that I will need to do chemo again. Carbo and Doxil every three weeks.

Stage 3c OC, ca125 rising slowly
My mother was diagnosed with stage 3c ovarian cancer in 2017, she had a very long debunking surgery from 9am to 7pm, then she had weekly infusions of carbo/
taxol
from December 2017 to April 2018. Treatments were stopped although her scans were never completely clear.

1 year in remission (LGOC)
months, my last CA125 was 5 but I should point out that it was only 37 at diagnosis and it was rife, including spots on my colon and a bit on my liver, had full hysterectomy and debulking and the bit on my liver taken off, they left the spots on my colon which they mopped up with the Chemo. 6 x carbo/

Preventing/treating neuropathy from Abraxane or Taxol?
I've had six Abraxane treatments since February. I'm thrilled that it's dropping my cancer marker, but I think I'm starting to have a bit of neuropathy...either that or someone is sneaking into my bedroom in the middle of the night and putting pins in the pad of my big toes. I take L-Glutamine for

Hair, will it regrow or won't it
For me, it has been 15 months since last
taxol
round. I'm up to round 29 in a few days for Herceptin and Perjeta. My hair has come back in, but very thin, (use to be very thick and curly/wavy) and as if there are fewer follicles in play. Is this my lot now, or will it get better over time?

It's back
I had been concerned that because of my age - 73, treatment might be hard to come by, but he suggested that as I have been NED for two and a half years it would be Carbo again with Caelex rather than
Taxol
as I suffered with severe neuropathy last time. Any thoughts on this combo would be welcome.
