Hi everyone I am received the consent form for the trial and I'm trying to make an informed decision as to whether I should still do this. It is called the bracelet study and is Phase 2. I am due to start my first treatment June 10th if I decide to go this route. I'm not too concerned about the first arm of the treatment if I get on that one because that involves taxol which is already proven. The other two arms I'm just a little nervous about. If anyone has any thoughts for me on this please let me know. You might want to look up the study, again it is BRACELET 2. Here is an interesting link about clinical trials.

Thoughts on clinical trial
I participated in a phase 2 clinical trial involving an anti-PDL-1 immunotherapy drug and Lynparza. I had a really good experience with no side effects from the experimental drug and 9 months of progression free survival. I got extra attention from the medical staff because trial patients are prioritized. The trial paid for treatment that wasn’t standard of care including a liver biopsy at the end. There was one dispute w my medical insurance over payment for a scan, but it got resolved quickly. The only drawbacks were getting scanned every 6 weeks and having to visit the doctor every 3 weeks. The trial looks interesting and if it were my decision, I would participate.
Hi I just read the info on the Bracelet 2 study...I know Lithuania has had a cure using the Riga virus for years. So the part about using an Oncolytic virus shouldn’t be of concern since they know of viruses that have worked...this is a scary but exciting time to have cancer!
Prayers for great outcomes for u...😀
Thank you this is great information to know. I had no idea! This makes me feel better going into the study. I did look up Lithuania and the reovirus and breast cancer. Very very interesting. It looks like I will be in the third arm which means I will get all 3 infusions, taxol and the Ria virus and avelumab. Still apprehensive but I feel better being armed with more information. Thank you so much!
