Ingrown Toenail due to Tagrisso - preventative care?
Hi Community: My father has been on
Tagrisso
for nearly a year now. And he's experienced dermatologic toxicity such as pimples and fissures on his finger tips. Lately though, he's had two ingrown toenails which he's never had before. He's going back to the podiatrist for tx.

Tagisso side effects
I would welcome any help from my friends on Health Unlocked. 2 weeks ago I was started on
Tagrisso
which I was told had only a very limited chance of making a difference. I thought that after 2 weeks my lungs were improving but I am now wondering if its just wishful thinking.

Treating side effects of treatment of increased dose of Tagrisso
Then the doctor switched me to
TAgrisso
as Tarciva effect seems to have diminoshed after my India tour where I had cougs and mucus.
Tagrisso
worked well till 2020 March when Covid-19 hit and was forced to stay hom and work.

Adjuvant Tagrisso for stage 3A lung cancer
I have been following
Tagrisso
for adjuvant treatment. It has now been approved for that purpose in the USA. Does have side effects and right now I’m feeling quite good. Working with my oncologist but wanted input from healthunlocked Friends.

First Targeted Adjuvant Therapy for EGFR Non Small Cell Lung Cancer (stage IB-IIIA)
The FDA based their approval on the results of the clinical trial ADAURA which showed that patients receiving
Tagrisso
(osimertinib) lived longer without a recurrence than patients who did not take the drug.

Targeted drug for lung cancer approved for NHS use in England.
In two decisions published today, the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has approved the drug osimertinib (
Tagrisso
) to treat some adults in England with advanced lung cancer whose cancer tests positive for a faulty version of a molecule called EGFR.

EGFR Afatanib progression
Two biopsies have sadly not shown the elusive T790 gene that NICE require to fund another TKI drug called
Tagrisso
. Has anyone currently received
TAGRISSO
under temporary NICE Covid ruling ? And could anyone recommend a private biopsy lab to test again for T790. Many thanks for any comments .

I am now on
Tagrisso
for my stage 4 Lung Cancer and the side effects are much better than Tarceva but the Dr. makes me take a Muga scan every three months to make sure the
Tagrisso

Tagrisso prolongs progression free survival in resectable EGFR patients.
Okay, I’m science fan geeking out this week. The American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) is holding their annual conference virtually. This paper comes out of that conference. https://www.asco.org/about-asco/press-center/news-releases/post-surgery-osimertinib-delays-disease-recurrence-patients

NCSLC with brain mets drugs
I also read
Tagrisso
and Avastin may help but these are also for EGFR positives. How can we choose a drug now out of these options that may work? Are there any studies or cases showing that any of them worked even if these drugs were not meant to work initially?

Devastated! my Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Transformed into Small Cell Lung Cancer
Had a great response to
Tagrisso
80mg as my first line but progressed only after 6 months. My biopsy in July confirmed that my Non-Small Cell has transformed to Small Cell Lung Cancer. Just completed my first cycle of Chemo with Carboplatin+ Etopaside.

Progression on Tagrisso only after 6 months.
I have been on
Tagrisso
1st line for 6 months. my 3rd scan last monday showed slight progression, 2 new nodules ( 16mm- 1cm ) and one grew slightly. my next treatment plan is up in air pending PET, MRI and biopsy. Any recommendation or what your medical team is doing now will be helpful.
