Synthroid dosage
I have a question about
synthroid
. I had my thyroid removed last September due to large nodules. It was discovered that I had micro papillary carcinoma. Very small cancers. This is my question. I am at my current and supposedly proper dose of 150 mcg.

Thyroid blood test question
Since it was a little more than 24 hours after my last dose of
Synthroid
(by 15 minutes) will this delay impact the accuracy of my thyroid blood test results and cause numbers to be artificially inflated or deflated? Thanks!

Cytomel with Synthroid
The most recent has told me it doesn’t last long in the body and wants me to take only
Synthroid
. As well, the practitioner told me I could take
Synthroid
2 hours after sleeping and take it with another medication. I have doubts about this advice.

Experience with NDT? Are the Pigs Treated Well? Might Any One Know if The Pigs are Slaughtered Solely for their Thyroids?
We switched from Levothyroxine to
Synthroid
. I feel worse. I have pain in my throat and sinuses which scares me. Brain fog. Depression. I want to also thank everybody here for the wealth of data and information. This forum has been my only support, my literal "lifeline". My Endo suggested NDT.

Free t4 and menopause
I ask because I’m 44 and my free t4 has inched up the last couple of years even though I’ve actually lowered my
synthroid
a bit. Tsh and free t3 are mostly the same, but my FT3/FT4 ratio is getting lower and lower and I think causing symptoms.

I am taking thyroid meds (
Synthroid
and Cytomel), but do not know what has caused my hypothyroid state.

Tsh close to zero but t3 and t4 normal on meds?
She also lowered my
synthroid
. I went from about 100mcg
synthroid
daily to 85 mcg
synthroid
and 10mcg t3 (split into two doses of 5). Finally have more energy and less shortness of breath when exercising.

Dividing doses before blood work.
I take
Synthroid
62.5 + NDT 75, I’m looking for advice as to how to divide my doses the day before my labs. I take the full dose of both every morning at 7-8 am. Thanks to all who have helped me in this horrible journey!!

How are you managing your thyroid health?
I've been off line for a while. just a quick update, after 10 years of using
synthroid
, My doctor finally change my med to Armour Thyroid 150mcg. I have reach a point in my life, to figure things out myself.

Hashimotos, in range. Should I take 25mcg Levoxyl?
A new GP says he will try me in 25mcg Levoxyl today, not
Synthroid
or levothyroxine. eople on here said for me to start at least 50mcg. Doc wants to go methodically slow because of antibodies, and because of the jitters I got on thyroid medication I self-took.

Branded Levothyroxine Bests Generic for Hypothyroidism
Will caveat that the research was commissioned by the manufacturer of
Synthroid
so clearly a vested interest and in no way independent. Would be intrigued if there was a similar analysis of the UK brands of Levo to compare their efficacy.

Update on my other post :Hashimoto's in range, now taking Levoxyl 25/50mcg. (Now having reactions?)
I already had this- self-trying T4T3 20/4 combo, T3 only or
Synthroid
in Dec. (Trying to stick to this T4 only. But slow release T3 bothered me too on a short trial.

Back on levothyroxine, dose upped
Hi, I've had hypo for a while now and felt a bit better before when I was taking 125mcg
synthroid
. However my GP got scared back then that the TSH was too low and reduced my dose to 75. Of course this made me feel terrible again.
