Thyroid blood test question

I took my Synthroid at 8:30am on Wednesday (usually take at 5am each morning) because I had an 8:30 appointment the following day at the lab to have thyroid testing done. I got there early and told the technician I needed my draw by 8:30 but my blood testing was not taken until 845am. Since it was a little more than 24 hours after my last dose of Synthroid (by 15 minutes) will this delay impact the accuracy of my thyroid blood test results and cause numbers to be artificially inflated or deflated? Thanks!

I very much doubt it will have any effect at all. Don't worry about it. You got your blood draw before 9 am, so the TSH will be pretty much at its highest, and that's all the doctors look at really. And, it won't have any effect at all your your FT3, should you be lucky enough to have that tested. :)
