What to do about T3 anxiety?
Started with 25mcg
Synthroid
, over a number of years settled on 80 mcg Levothyroxine compounded SR with 12 mcg Liothyronine. Had thyroid lobectomy in November 2021 and my new endocrinologist switched me to 88 mcg Tirosint and 5 mcg Cytomel.

Switching from levo to synthroid dose adjustment.
Does anyone here had problems switching from levothiroxine to
synthroid
? I started with the same dose and felt terrible heart racing, insomnia, nightmates. Felt better after reducing the dose, but now feel pins and needles all over my body.

Tirosint who have you used to get this prescription in the uk?
Has anyone uk based found a Dr or endo that can prescribe Tirosint or
synthroid
levo brands? I know by the list there are pharmacies that do prescribe it in the uk. I am just unsure who you go through to obtain this prescription?

Should I take the
Synthroid
, insist on the generic (which is cheaper) or wait and see if the other half of the thyroid can someday produce enough hormone? Before surgery the TSH was 2.5. This doctor considers anything up to 5 as normal.

Should you take T4 and T3 at the Same time of Day?
I started taking 5 mcg of T3 on 1 Oct along with my previously prescribed 100 mcg of
Synthroid
. Just had new labs done on 1 Dec and while my TSH lowered from 1.0 to .19 and my T3 and T4 levels are also lower. My RT3 went higher. I’m also having stomach issues and pain in the right flank.

Any Strategies For Controlling Blood Sugar While Taking Thyroid Meds
Switching to Tirosint-Sol for better absorption and yes unwise it was at a higher dose (
Synthroid
was 100 mcg and Tirosint and Tirosint Sol was 112). Now I have neuropathy, face flushing, and serum blood sugar levels between 93-99.

Is it hypothyroidism and not ADHD?
I had been diagnosed with hypothyroidism several years ago and was on
Synthroid
. I am not sure how it happened, but then I was told my thyroid "corrected" itself and no longer needed to be on it. At the time, I trusted my doctors and didn't know what I know now.

Living with congenital Hypothyroidism
I recently discovered that cow's milk suppresses levothyroxine/
synthroid
if you are from USA, from working correctly so I changed to lacto free or oat milk. I am now on 150mg of levothyroxine.

Update “sigh”
. : It certainly sounds like you have sufficient grounds to request either the brand
synthroid
or if that doesn't work well, a hypoallergenic product called tirosint.

Tirosint and cytomel vs Synthroid and cytomel?
Any benefits, differences between tirosint and
Synthroid
? My labs are a little wonky, and idk if that’s due to the lactose/fillers in
Synthroid
, or the low FT3. I just filled an rx for the same dose as my
Synthroid
in tirosint and am a little scared to make the switch. Any good reviews?

Opinions / advice regarding lab numbers and dosage please. In U.S.
My numbers and symptoms were on the edge of hyperthyroidism, so 11 weeks ago my
Synthroid
dose was lowered a bit and now I am taking 88 mcg
Synthroid
and 1/4 grain Armour thyroid. Now, however, my Free T4 and T3 are dropping. TSH is staying oddly low.

Is there actually a difference between synthroid and generic?
I’m very curious to hear if people actually feel better on
synthroid
over generic Levo ( accord, teva ect)? If so, why? Are there different ingredients involved?
