Feel like I can't get all my air out
I'm on
symbicort
and spiriva but I'm not consistent with the spiriva as I feel it makes me worse to be honest. Thanks

Chest pain Spiriva + Symbicort++
Recently started Spiriva and found that I have more chest pain than before. Even though I cough less I feel like my chest is inflamed and have shortness of breath. Coughing plugs in mornings. I have had to add Neulin to help get through the day. Been like this for months now. I'm in Australia so now

Inhaler Recycling
A few years ago, our local Boots stopped taking my used
Symbicort
Turbohalers, which was a shame because they are very complicated and must cost the earth to manufacture. However, I’m now pleased to report that they are now recycling them, which is a lot better than putting them in plastic waste.

Had my inhaler changed 2 weeks again from

Asthma post COVID
I did a prednisone taper and am currently taking
symbicort
twice daily. My only symptom is persistent chest tightness/breathlessness. I'm not wheezing or ever really in danger of an attack.
Symbicort
doesn't seem to be doing much after a month in.

Issues with symbicort
Hi Portha60 I am on
symbicort
the red one, I am only on 1 puff twice a day, and go up to 2 puffs if I need to increase I can go up to 12puffs a day before I need to contact GP. Reading your present problem. I would say you need to see a gp or asthma nurse urgently. Hope all goes well for you.

Taste
Hello, Have recently gone back onto a combination inhaler,
Symbicort
100/3, and find that whenever I take it I get an unpleasent aftertaste in my mouth. This occurs even with using an Aerochamber and washing my mouth out afterwards. Anybody have a similar experience or have some advice?

Asthma and Spiriva
I am now hitting the
Symbicort
more and dropping spiriva due to this issues. Suspect it affects my potassium levels (previous problem with other drugs). Ideas?? What are other peoples experiences please?

Upset about inhalers
I’m in tears after getting home from pharmacy to discover the GP today prescribed
Symbicort
. She said it would be better than fostair but it’s the same! I just want the classic brown one! Why have they made asthma treatments so complicated? I have never had an asthma plan.

What would you do next?
I'm on the MART scheme but completely maxed out on
Symbicort
so have been supplementing with a blue. The absolute worst symptoms have been at night and I seem to have spent the end of the week begging someone to prescribe something which will let me breathe when I'm lying down.

Changing from MDIs to DPIs for the environment
In 2019 I was swapped from
Symbicort
, a DPI, to Fostair, an MDI as I was (and am) very prone to developing oral thrush. It was thought it would be better for me, especially as I can take it with a spacer (as I do consistently).

Asthmatic, keep getting chest infections
I've seen a Doctor today who wasn't very helpful in giving advice as I am already on antibiotics and steroids, but did give me Montelukast and switch my Lurforbec inhaler to a
Symbicort
one at my request though I have no idea if these will help. I'm at a loss what to do.

Post-covid and asthma
My asthma meds are Montelukast 4mg +
Symbicort
4.5/80 and I was pretty well with my treatment. My peakflow was normally 600. During my covid, i went down to 540, not a drama, but I felt a discomfort of breath and I increased my meds (smart plan with
symbicort
).

Duoresp Spiromax Vs Symbicort Turbuhaler
I have been on
Symbicort
Turbuhaler for a few years and it has been fine. When I last went to get my script filled, the pharmacist asked if I wanted to try the Duoresp Spiromax - said it was exactly the same as
Symbicort
, but a better delivery method/easier to use inhaler. I used it for 2 nights.
