I've got the Subutex version today and it says not to cut,its just the2 mg. Can I still cut or just take the whole pill( under the tongue) thanks

This is what the pain specialist sent to my dr when I asked about subutex for restless legs and nerve pain.....I have very severe restless legs and heard thus was good for it. I'm just speechless....all i was on was 200mcgs of buprenorphine and the targin 5mgs twice a day.

Why is Subutex only available for drug addicts to access?

I can't believe they won't prescribe Subutex to a suffering chronic pain sufferer, but freely give it out to drug addicts.......I'm just gobsmacked. There is a drug out there that could potentially stop me from jumping off a bridge but they won't give it to me.

I have my neurologist apt on 11th, going to ask for subutex like shumba is on. Any Aussies on it and doing well ?

Rang specialist said I can't live with this , and I can't, I'm in so much distress....he said I'm not prescribing subutex for you and never will, i said well can i increase 2mcg dose to 4mcg ,he said not a good idea with 10mg targin just keep it at 100mcgs.

Been on Subutex for 13 years after heroin but they worked fir my hard to treat depression so their keeping me on it. Watching the beginning of House, I can see why it was or is so popular. Thinking of getting a laptop but wow so many to choose from so complicated. Any hints or idea's?

He flatly refused to give me subutex without scientific proof, I told him that I did , He has taken me off temgesic as well and informed the other drs looking after me not to put me on it again.....he said there is no proof that this works on rls...again I said there is lots of proof but he just ignored

When l pointed out that Subutex is in mlgs and not mcgs the doctor said l was quite wrong and that Subutex is in mcgs just the same as Temgesic so it would be easy to take the same dose.

l requested a switch from Temgesic to Subutex, but of course he will have to consult Dr Bagary which all takes time. I also discussed dosage with him as the two sorts of tablets come in different strength as you probably all know. In the meantime arrangements are being made.

does anyone have any experience of using subutex for restless legs? My mother has had a knee replacement and her restless legs are terribly severe and she is not sleeping at all.

I want to request a change from Temgesic to Subutex but wonder about the dosage.

On that note a young 27 year old male , I have just mange’s to get him onto Subutex with doctors words astonishing results.

Bedith has recently asked her neuro to change from Temgesic to Subutex which has much better lasting powers. Shumbah had been finding this out and the strange thing is that we cannot discover the difference in the make-up of the different brands.

He was lucky enough to try Subutex stopped the Temgesic and cold turkey stopped gabapentin Subutex .5 mg sublingual from night 1 YES no RLS , no nausea , no pain.

We are trying to get subutex as temgesic only gives him 3/4hrs of slight relief! He is in pain 24/7 with his RLS symptoms. We believe Subutex would suit best annd have also been told it doesn’t froth up as much. Can anyone comment on this?
