Gonna give it a second go
I miss living and enjoying my life and with the ADHD meds (I’m hoping for
Strattera
, I don’t want to be on any stimulant ADHD meds) maybe my mind will relax and calm down a bit. I don’t know how soon I’ll be able to do this but I’m hoping to within the next few months.

First TimeStrattera
Now, we're trying
Strattera
in the hope that he'll get going a bit quicker and better with his school work. We're hoping it'll get a boost with it. As we all do, I've read all about
Strattera
, the need to remain patient, the side effects, and the truth is I would love it if it works.

Suffering from pre glaucoma narrow angles; Alternatives to Adderall.
Adderall (stimulants), Ritalin family,
Strattera
info says to avoid. Adderall has been so effective for many years. Any suggestions?

A little insight would be wonderful. I’m new here!
He prescribed me
Strattera
and I graduated nursing school with a 4.0. For the first time in my life I truly felt smart and accomplished. I stopped taking it when I graduated. I still don’t have a formal diagnosis but I feel like I’m handling life without medication except for one thing.

He's also taking
strattera
. Doctor might start him on focalin in a few weeks. I'm so overwhelmed having my child on so many medications. He struggles with depression/adhd (inatentive). He's not able to follow through or keep up with school work and is very stressed out about being behind.

Medication update
Strattera
did not work on him at all even with on his max dose based on body weight. And Guanfacine was the worse! We tried 1mg for 3weeks and he showed signs of depression, increased aggression and easily frustrated/irritable. So we stopped that one immediately.

Guanfacine- 1st Day
We have tried
Strattera
, Adderall, and Focalin that did not work for him either we did not see any change or made his tics unmanageable. Also might not be the proper timing for him with those meds. Thank you for your support!

How are you justifying if new meds are working with social distance learning?
We started
Strattera
in Sept and have gone up little by little and now are on his max dose. So it is that time to re-evaluate if we stay on this or change meds. I really don’t want to make a change and try new meds when I can’t really tell from an in person classroom stand point vs at home.

Strattera not working. Guanfacine?
My son (4th grader) has been on this slow progress and trial of
Strattera
and he has reached his max dose for his body weight. His MD suggested to try Guanfacine next. Appointment is this Thurs. A little background on what he has used.

Cannabis for ADHD?
Now I'm on
Strattera
, 60mg once a day, and sleeping MORE, but no change in concentration. I've heard, though, that cannabis sometimes helps with ADHD (and anxiety, which I have in spades), and a dispensary opened nearby. Should I drop the meds and go for that instead, and if so what strain is best?

ADHD meds causing vomiting
We tried Vyvanse, methylpheninidate, and
Strattera
. They have all caused vomiting (for 24 hrs) after either a single dose or when we start approaching anything other than a minimal dose.

Newly diagnosed
I tried
Strattera
but I stopped taking it because of a mild-moderate adverse reaction. I’ve taken SNRIs for depression in the past & had to stop for the same reasons. Thanks in advance.

Medication for 16 year old with ADHD
I am actually thinking about a medication that is not an amphetamine-
Strattera
? Something like that because my son doesn't like taking ADHD meds to begin with. Anyone else in this situation? I would love some advice. thanks!

ADHD Diagnosis - How Fast is too Fast?
I received a prescription for
Strattera
. Altogether, it was about 90 minutes of discussion. We didn't formally go through a questionnaire, although I think most of the questions probably came from one. I didn't do any attention tests.

Strattera tip
I just found out that
Strattera
can be taken to a compound pharmacy and turned into a liquid, for any parents who had to forego this medicine because their kiddo couldn’t swallow the pill.

Strattera and cursing, sassy and aggressive
Hi wondering if anyone found that these things got worse with
Strattera
and if so what did you try for violent, cursing mood changes with aggression towards whoever gets in the way? Desperate to stop the aggressive, foul language

Saw a tele-psychiatrist for 10 mins and got prescribed Strattera.. Am I diagnosed?
He then proceeded to prescribe me
Strattera
, and tell me to make an appointment in 3 weeks to check back up. I was kind of expecting more, the whole appointment took like 10 minutes. Am I diagnosed with ADHD or am I just simply prescribed
Strattera
?

We all matter so much, truly
Hey ADHDers and/or non-ADHDers(supportive members), I have been taking
strattera
for two weeks and I’m not as fidgety and all over the place now. I can hold my attention on things way more than before.
