concerta to xaggitin experience
Hi all, I have been diagnosed with ADHD, and I was initially on
Strattera
, but I didn’t feel it was doing all that much for me. It was a little effective, but nowhere near what I need.

Looking for medication advice for ADHD-inattentive type and anxiety
In the past, I tried Concerta and
Strattera
and both made me feel really jittery, sick and dizzy. A nurse practitioner prescribed me Adderall recently but after reading about it some, I am afraid to take it. Any advice about this would be helpful.

If anyone has experience with
Strattera
and side effects or experiences I should watch out for I'd be interested to know what to expect. This is new to me. Thanks in advance!

New To The Community - The Start to My Journey
He first started me on Wellbutrin, which I had an allergic reaction to, and then
Strattera
which made me extremely irritable and I told my doctor it relieved symptoms of my anxiety, but I didn't find that it helped much in other areas.

Need someone Knowledgeable in adhd medications
Strattera
- took to stop tic from clonodine. Took one pill, was like a wound up monkey. Couldn't even stay in school that day. So I stopped that. All these meds no appetite, lost weight, bad constipation . Concerta was the last one tried and helped the most with symptoms.

Looking for advice on advanced diagnostics/treatment centers I could visit for a few days for adult inattentive type ADD.
Next I tried
Strattera
. It made me sweat a great deal but didn't do anything for my focus. Previously I had taken Wellbutrin before my diagnosis and it just made me angry but no additional focus.

Strattera/atomoxetine
My 15 yo son just began straterra/atomoxetine. How long has it taken for your body to get used to the medication? He is complaining he's so tired.

Strattera for mood and ADHD
We have been told that
Strattera
is a drug that can help with both ADHD and mood. Does anyone have anything to share on this topic? His biggest problems are academics, mood, and executive function.

Gabapentin for anxiety - mood dysregulation?? Looking for others experiences..
Both stimulant molecules and
Strattera
at lowest dose caused irritability. Guanfacine seemed to work pretty well but we still saw room for improvement. High doses just caused a flat affect. The Doc feels that there is a lot more going on that Guanfacine just can’t cover.

6 year old Starting Strattera
He started him on
strattera
, which he said had to do with my son's hyperactivity, as he was thinking a stimulant might exacerbate the symptoms.

Spouse doesn't believe in ADHD
Started on
strattera
and am in shock at how much easier it is for me to do basic things like respond to emails, file paperwork, put the laundry away etc. My husband has been pretty dismissive of this whole process since I started seeking a diagnosis 6 months ago.

I was on a low dose of
Strattera
. My world was finally making sense and I could accomplish daily tasks when I had motivation. It made me really sleepy though. I did take it at night, but the next day I would still feel sluggish.

She has bounced from Adderal to
Strattera
to Ritalin currently to treat ADHD. Failing 3 classes presently her senior yr and is a bright, talented girl. 504 accomodations are not helping. We have never felt so helpless or saddened about her future. Counseling for her as well over the past years.

New here and newly diagnosed in middle age!
I was diagnosed at the beginning of November and was prescribed
Strattera
. So far, the medication effects aren't overwhelming, but I do notice some difference.

Switching from stimulant to non-stimulant
She mentioned switching to
Strattera
only. I am nervous to go from a stimulant that he has been taking for 2.5 years to a non-stimulant. Has anyone ever done this? I have read it take several weeks to see the effects of the non stimulant. I hate to keep changing his medications.

Strattera experience
Is this just in the beginning phase of the medication or it will continue as the
Strattera
starts working as I read after 4 or more weeks of taking it.
