Spiriva respimat
I'm wondering if anyone on this site has stage 4 copd and asthma, and if they find using
spiriva
helpful at this stage, or are breathing better on a different medication. Thank you for your reply.

Put a temporary hold on my Dulera and Spiriva
On
Spiriva
almost a month, not much difference. Maybe after I first use it, then it's like I never took it. Maybe the same could be said for Dulera. Once lasts 24 hr, one 12 hr. I just don't know sometimes.

Lung hyperinflation
I hope that
Spiriva
can reduce it over time. It has been shown favorably with LVRS in this regard. Not sure if others are in the same boat and have had improvement. I have been on
Spiriva
only 3 weeks. Supposed to have a HRCT, with inspiration/expiration in a couple weeks and a stress ECHO.

Mentioned he put me on
Spiriva
, even though I basically had to convince him to give me something, and that was after he just said use Albuterol, then I pointed out all the trapped air. I emailed back and asked him to reconsider, but maybe for the best.

COPD
The nurse has prescribed Ventolin,
spiriva
and seretide 500 . She also told me that I was going for a chest x-Ray and on a treadmill due to my breathlessness and high pulse beat. I would appreciate if someone can tell me how bad or what stage I am in. Thank you, Raptorabz

Lung overinflation
I did wheeze but stopped after the
Spiriva
, Yet my lungs are full of air. Some air trapping yes, but I have a lot. Like I should be much further along. Like much worse function.

Blue Badge assessment
She takes
spiriva
, warfarin, blood pressure meds, digoxin, velapamil and asthma inhalers. Does anyone have any advice about what the assessment will entail as she is getting worried about it?

New to spiriva
This may sound strange, but I started
spiriva
a few days ago. (
Spiriva
respimat). I actually think my breathing is worse. My dr. Said to take it for a week and see how I feel then. My question is, has anyone else experienced the same thing.

Productive attack
Because im already on 40 mg of pred, montelukast, fostair, qvar and
spiriva
and still having bad attacks without an infection present or any known allergies he thinks it needs to be investigated a bit more to see what else they can do. I was also told my asthma is Brittle.

Seretide vs Piriva = confrontation
In the end we agreed on a trial of
Spiriva
( double the cost) and would be interested in hearing from those who are using this as I know there are some side effects, but not as bad as seretide.

Spiriva to respimat
I started
spiriva
respimat yesterday. I have 2 questions. How soon after taking it does one start to feel the improvement in breathing. Is it the same as the handihaler . Thanks for replies. Barbara

Herbal and complementary treatments
While I'd never stop my Symbicort,
Spiriva
and Ventolin, I often wonder if I'm missing other additional benefits available from the vast range of herbal and complementary products. I fully accept that many of them are nothing but snake oil, but some of them might have potential.
