First post here! Looking for a bit of advice
He's tried me on Montelukast and
Spiriva
, and tried increasing my Fostair and using it as a reliever (with my usual reliever). Nothing really works. The respiratory specialist referred me to an allergist who has been trying to treat allergic rhinitis with antihistamines and nasal corticosteroids.

-Albuterol! Still had a few hospitalizations and many trips to ER. Finally in 2012 I was put on DALIRESP which was fairly new in the US at the time. Was developed in Germany. it is a small daily pill and it has changed my life. No hospitalizations or visits to ER since 2011.

I'm on flovent twice a day and
spiriva
once a day. I have started doing yoga again and have started to walk again. Is there anything else I can do to slow this down. Have read that the radiation can continue to cause damage up to 2 years. Need more info.

Fostair
I have just had my annual check up and had sere tide removed and fostair added along with my regular
spiriva
. I had pneumonia last year and my number of chest infections has soared from 1 a year to 5 in the past year. This is quite depressing for me as I get so breathless with little or no effort.

Spiriva
I had a consultant appointment yesterday & I was given
Spiriva
to take on top of my existing medication (Symbicort/Ventolin/Montelukast/Itraconazole). I started on it this morning but for about a couple of hours after taking it I felt very hot & dizzy. Does anyone else find that with it?

Throat problems ... from medication?
I take
Spiriva
first in the morning. I rinse and then gargle very well with water after. I have been on
Spiriva
for a number of years and it never caused me any problem. Then the doctor added Flovent to my med schedule. An hour or two after taking
Spiriva
I take 2 puffs of Flovent.

Advice greatly appreciated.
My symbicort, and
Spiriva
. 2. Ventolin don't work anymore. I use oxygen, I see my oxygen nurse every six months, that is the only input into my Emphysema. I send for a repeat prescription monthly. I was diagnosed type2 diabetes 18 months ago, was given Metformin and that was it.

Stopping all inhalers after 10 years!
I have been on Seretide and
Spiriva
for 10 years, but was informed that a move away from an inhaled steroid to a LAMA/LABA inhaler was more suitable - as I do not have regular exacerbation's or asthma. A week ago told by a consultant to stop my inhalers after discussing this.

Spiriva and blurry vision when wearing contact lenses
Hi, I've been taking
spiriva
for several weeks now with good results. However, I have noticed my vision is blurred when I'm wearing my contact lenses. Anyone else have this? What should I do? I have a contact lense check at the opticians next week. Any solutions?

What Next
I have to stop taking
Spiriva
but to carry on with Fostair and Ventalin. I am now not only totally confused but also a little scared. Has anyone else been given information that seems to be contradictory as well as confusing.

In Denial
I am on
Spiriva
once daily. I am still smoking (bad) around six to eight cigarettes per day but this is down from around 15 a day. I only have breathlessness when I walk too fast but the cough is pretty bad.
