PCOS after switching from depo-provera injection to coil.
Hello. Am new here. I am in my late 30s. I was on depo injections for about 12 years with no PCOS. No hirsutism. No dodgy ovaries ( I've had several scans over the years for nonPCOS reasons, the last clear ovary scan being 3 years ago). Last year I switched to the hormone coil and rapidly developed hirsutism

My husband and I are trying to conceive. I had been on Depo Provera since January 26, 2013. My last injection was on August 4th, 2014. We have been trying for a while at the advice of my doctor. My first period was on November 17th, 2014. And now today, although this is when I'm ovulating, I got a lighter

Confused and fed up
Hi everyone Apologies in advance for the long post! This is my first on here and I haven't spoken about this in a while because my problems (mostly) subsided whilst I was on the Depo Provera injection for about 2 or 3 years - so I just got on with it. Background: had 'menstrual' and pain issues

Stage 4 endo and fertility
So my battle with endo started in 2012 when I was back from a good 5km run one evening and then found myself doubled over in pain and rushed into A&E with suspected appendicitis. After 3 days if tests they said a cyst had raptured in my abdomen and the fluid was causing the pain but this would jus subside

Zoladex...is it worth it?
Hi, I've just been to the gp this morning because the depo provera injection that I had back in June hasn't worked. I had about two weeks of pain relief then the endometriosis pains came back. How long does IM depo medrone last?
Hi, Does anyone else get IM steroid injections. I had my last about a month ago and it made such a difference but today I feel exhausted again, with the knees and feet starting to get tender. I realize it could be the temperature and the fact we had a weekend visiting friends but I had been feeling so

Hi All. Has anyone else had lots of fluid retention, particularly in thighs and belly, after injection of Depo-Medrone (cortisone)? I had 120 mgs after crawling off to GP when my batteries had run down and blew up some days later. I'm on 7.5mgs daily but am waiting for hip replacement so am off everything

Painful aching legs and other joint pain - has Zoladex done this to me????
Hi Ladies, About a year ago now I was on Zoladex (with add-back HRT) for stage 4 Endo but had to come off it as it made me quite poorly. Then I was on Depo-Provera injections for a few months but stopped them at the beginning of March this year because I wasn't benefiting much from that treatment either

What were your experiences with Depo Provera Injection for endo treatment?
Hi everyone - went back to see my gynae after such bad endo pain for the last six months. I had a lap last march which I had mild endo burnt off which helped. Pain then returned, and have been on contraceptive pill since which hasn't helped really. They've suggested the depo provera pill for pain management
