Not improving
I currently take
seretide
500 twice dailly and have been well controlled until now on that. Shouldn't the oral steroids of made an impact by now? Still wheezing, SOBOE, tired, coughing (although cough not as troublesome) lungs pain.........really fed up and only able to sleep if i'm drugged!

STILL not right
My pf's are starting to drop again, after the increase in
seretide
and starting the montelukast they'd gone up, even managing a 490, although that was a one off, although could have been the course of steroids that helped too.

An update: Got accuhalers!
After my latest episode (sse other post) I've been back to my GP today and I now have
Seretide
and Ventolin as accuhalers, so we're gonna see how that goes. Also got yet more Pred (Third lot in 3 weeks) so looking forward to continued sleeplessness (NOT).

Problems coming off Prednisolone
Before this last attack (which happened while I was in Majorca - I think I was allergic to the type of pollen over there) my asthma is very well controlled, I usually take 125
Seretide
and Singulair. I'm also now on 250

Diet and nutrition
I am now on
Seretide
125 and had some Pred tablets recently too. I am not that keen on
Seretide
to be honest. I am not sure if it is causing me to overbreathe/hyperventilate at intervals during the day or if it is doing wonderful things and my asthma underneath it is dire.

Why do asthma nurses presume you know everything without being told?
Two puffs of
Seretide
250 x twice a day. When I asked could they give me something else, asthma nurse told me I was already on maximum medication. Singulair hadnt helped. So, sorry. Nothing more they could do for me.

Seretide to Fostair - Any advice?
Been moved from
Seretide
to Fostair since having trouble with leg cramps/muscle aches related to
Seretide
doseage. Does anyone have any first hand experience of Fostair? The info leaflet looks a little scary and has worried me!!

Froggie, froggie
Fine on the
seretide
, Fine at the start with Symbicort apart from the sneezing. Past three weeks, sounding more as if frog in the throat and coughing a lot again. When I lie down in bed (on right side) its as if there's a wee frog croaking down in my throat as I breathe.

ventolin inhaler
The
seretide
inhaler we use for one of the boys is great it has a counter on it so I can always tell, but the ventolin doesn't so I'm never really sure when to replace them.
