Need Some Help!
A consultant here in Spain prescribed
Seretide
- very good but costs 56euros per month!! I have also read somewhere that Becotide is no longer used in UK. My GP is ok but again, I think is a bit out of touch with latest meds. Any help would be gratefully received.

Cost of asthma treatment in the UK
This is much better thanks to my treatment which is two doses of
Seretide
accuhaler twice daily. The problem is, I'm not familiar with the NHS system.

Anyone use Seretide 500 two puffs, twice a day?
Hi Could you let me know if anyone uses
Seretide
500 two puffs twice a day. I normally take one puff twice a day but my consultant increased it today as my CT scan showed infection areas on my lungs. I have also been put on a long term prescription of Azithromycin.

Anyone taken Singulair. Seretide and Uniphyllin?
I don't want to jinx myself but we are supposed to exist on the least amount of medication possible so I was wondering if there is anyone out there who has improved on Singulair to the extent that they have been able to reduce say the
seretide
or stop the uniphyllin?

Post Hospital Discharge
Blood test followed, daily peak flow charts, spirometry tests, prednisolone, singulair, uniphyllin,
seretide
, symbicort, x-rays. Everything. I've done it all, several times. I was a spectacular flop on the spirometry test in particular.

change of meds, not sure if it's working
Just a quickie, my son was changed from
Seretide
1000mg /day to Symbicort 1600mg - 2400mg/day on 12th of December. His control was not very good on Seratide hence the change.

Asthma control over Christmas
I went to the doctors last week and had my
Seretide
increased to the maximum liscenced dose, but it's not had chance to have an effect yet so I'm still going through my salbutamol inhalers in just a matter of days!

Hi from a new member
Im also on
seretide
, singulair, ventolin (nebs and inhaler) nasonex and flunisolide. My questions Does anyone else seem not to have any triggers? Has anyone been on CPAP for an asthma attack? Does anyone else’s oxygen stats behave like mine? (really good then a sudden drop?)

oral thrush for a year and a half
I have always used a spacer when I take my steroid inhaler, always swill my mouth with water, and use Corsodyl mouthwash three times a day - so I am fairly convinced that it is not my
seretide
use that is causing it. My immune system is functioning normally..

Brittle Asthma and VCD
I was in hospital for a week, and was started on
seretide
250 and had a ventolin inhaler. Things didn't improve after that. By the end of February I had 5 emergency admissions, 3 of which were to intensive care.
