Seretide, a scan and some symptoms
Has anyone else found that
Seretide
becomes less effective over time? Things seem to have been noticeably worse since the beginning of Feb.

Help, really feeling down
I'm on nebs 4 times a day,
seretide
,and montelucast. If I stay in bed and do very little everything goes relatively ok but,i get up, try to visit friends,i can get by. I lose my voice if I talk too much,i cough like crazy. Then, I'm up half the night. Iwake up trying to catch my breath.

Can't get rid of this breathlessness - please help
I have been ill for 4 weeks with breathlessness (hardly any wheezing) and was in hospital for 5 days my peak flow has improved from the 200 but despite having taken pred, slophyllin and
seretide
I am still breathless. Said it could be a virus. My GP added Singulair but I have seen no improvement.

aches and pains - can allergy cause them?
Hi everyone, I have home nebs,
seretide
etc, and am allergic to dust mites and tree pollens. Every so often I get these ""attacks"" of bad pain all over, muscles and joints, like flu, and feel really disabled, hobbling round like an old lady.

How long until I notice something?
My dr has just taken me off
seretide
125mcg and put me on to beclometason 100 (4 puffs twice a day) with serevent 50 (1 puff twice a day) in a attempt to settle breathing down. I've been using these new inhalers for about 4 days now.

Definitions of wheezing, rattling and general chest noises.
My crackly chest has much improved after a month on
Seretide
, he thinks that after another couple of months he may be able to slowly withdraw it, I hope so after reading about all the horrid side effects, and I am fed up with the hoarsenss already.

What next?
Just finished my second course of steroids in a month and still on
Seretide
500 twice a day. Symptoms improved dramatically during this course of preds, my pf increased to 430, the best for months. Now that they are finished it has dropped back to 280 - 300.

This year started with me developing pluerisy, and then having asthma from the end of January till today - I am on

How do you know if you have grown out of Asthma?
If it appears that my Asthma has gone, i wonder how i will be phased of
seretide
? Part of me will be scared to change anything that has led me to my current healthy condition.

Since I finished the injections, 18 months ago, I've managed with
Seretide
2x2, Ventolin 2x2 and the occasional pred course. While I was on the injections, I didn't even need these. There's hope, then.

Open Water Swimming
I wear a wetsuit (which is the correct fit) but despite increasing my
Seretide
125 to 2 puffs the night before and on the morning and then also taking my Ventolin before any training I still wheeze badly the whole way around and it's really affecting my performance and confidence.

Are Air Conditioners bad for Asthma?
It's very well controlled at present, takes
Seretide
twice a day which seems to be doing the trick. However this summer she's been coping very badly with the heat and am thinking of buying a portable air conditioner for her bedroom to help reduce the temperature there.

Hot & bothered
New tablets seem to be helping as I have cut down on ventolin & chest seems not to be tight every day & have also changed onto
seretide
250 , hope this will help aswell. Found out I have fish allergy, thats a bummer,as I like fish, chest gets all tight.
