I just turned 19 and I am now taking finasteride. Not sure if I’m dealing with the side effects or it’s just all in my head?
In high school I notice my hair had been thinning out excessively. By the time I turned 18 and graduated I notice some recession. So when I told my dermatologist about this he offered me finasteride. He told me there were some harmful side effects to it such as erectile dysfunction. But that only 1%

Immunity After COVID-19 Illness May Last at Least 1 Year
Long-term data from northern Italy -- an area hit hard during the early days of the pandemic -- suggests that reinfection after recovery from COVID-19 infection is very rare, and immunity in former patients could be long-lasting. "Natural immunity to SARS-CoV-2 appears to confer a protective effect

Hysterectomy ✅
Hi, For the lovely ladies that asks me to give an update. I had a successful total hysterectomy yesterday and slowly starting to feel like myself again. I had the spinal pain blocker and I don’t think I was prepared for coming round and not being able to feel or move my legs! In a little bit of pain

Suspected c-section scar endo, can anyone relate to my symptoms?
Hey! I’m currently waiting for an appointment at my local endometriosis clinic after being referred by my doctor. She seems pretty sure I do have endo (too long to type out every time 🙈😂) . It’s suspected it may be in my c section scar. I just wanted some advice regarding symptoms as they’re quite

At such a loss on what to do
I went for a Laparoscopy in 2019 and they found my abdominal wall stuck to my bowel through adhesions, the surgeon had no idea where it came from and asked if I had been in a major car crash or had major surgery in that area which I obviously had not (he would have clearly seen some

Dressings after a lap
They didn’t actually tell me a timeframe and when I look at the
scars
I think I still have my stitches so they’ve not dissolved yet. I’ve not put any new ones on just to let it breathe a bit but can I stop putting them on now it’s been two weeks?

Has anyone been in so much pain that they find it distressing?
I'm having a really bad endometriosis flare up at the moment and the pain is becoming so severe that I'm getting distressed. I've taken pain meds, I've got a tens machine on, I've used aromatherapy and haven't done much today but the pain is still unbearable. Has anyone else experienced this? And if

I haven't read about keloid

here , so if anyone out there is suffering with it, please get in touch, would like to know how you cope with it. I am grateful for the new lease of life, for my improved health, and hope to enjoy it for a bit longer.

Pulsating pain after laproscopy
My
scars
have healed well but I have been getting a pulsating pain which I think is coming from deep inside top of my vagina/also think pulsating is at top of my rectum. I’ve been on various pain killers - currently tremadol. However pulsating pain was really bad yesterday. Am at whits end.

Bug bite reaction
Anyone have an adverse reaction to bug bites since being on an anticoagulant. If you had a Covid vaccination did you also notice any adverse reactions to bug bites. I’m trying to understand why I’m reacting the way I am.
