Hip dysplasia
I know this is a long shot, but is anyone here also diagnosed with hip dysplasia? I’m currently waiting for a laparoscopy to look for signs of endometriosis. I just don’t know if some of my pain might be referred pain from my hips, or if there’s anyone out there who has both. Thank you :)

Vitamin D Recommendations and COVID-19
id=10.1371/journal.pone.0239252 seems to show a clear link between vitamin D and
SARS
-CoV-19 infection with a vitamin D level around 50 ng/ml (125 nmol/l) being ‘optimal’.

Will you continue wearing a face mask after COVID-19 madness is over?
Arguments for wearing a face mask even if COVID-19 no longer exists: - respiratory illnesses are one of the main causes of death for CLL patients - and that includes flu, common cold and some kinds of pneumonia - all of which are somewhat blocked by a face mask - COV-

Risk of infection: Air purifiers remove 90 percent of aerosols in school classrooms.
Studies show that infectious
SARS
-CoV-2 pathogens can still be detected in such aerosols over three hours after emission and several metres away from an infected person.

Mass screening of asymptomatic persons for SARS-CoV-2 using saliva.
Detection of

Nitric oxide a possible treatment for COVID-19.

Researchers work to build a molecular Trojan horse to battle COVID-19.
Envelope proteins—small membrane proteins—have an important yet unknown role in the development and virulence of multiple coronaviruses, including

Dried blood spot sampling offers an inexpensive way to widen access to antibody testing for COVID-19.
For population-wide or high volume testing, the use of such sampling is limited by logistic challenges, resources, and costs, as well as the risk of
SARS
-CoV-2 exposure from direct patient contact.

T-cell Covid immunity 'present in adults six months after first infection'.
The data offers another piece of the puzzle that could be key to understanding whether previous
Sars
-CoV-2 infections – the virus behind Covid-19 – can prevent reinfection, and if so, for how long.

Big acne scar
I have a big scar between my right eye and my nose, I even went to plastic surgery, it is better than before but it's still visible. Because of that I feel like I have done everything but it will never go away, and I dont like that scar at all. I feel so depressed because of that. What can I do? My scar

Multiple system atrophy and hydrogen
https://drsircus.com/general/hydrogen-hits-a-home-run-for-multiple-system-atrophy/ Recently, a member of our Parkinson group passed away from MSA. He got progressively worse in the very short time and we just heard that he passed away recently. Our meetings kind of stopped, we had couple on Zoom. As

I took abortion pill 7 hours ago and have had cramping but no bleeding, just a bit of spotting. Has anyone else has this experience?

Some scarring to the bottom of my lungs
Hi all So after months and months of having a cough I have been told I have some light scarring to the bottom of my lungs due to an infection? Not sure how that causes scars. But these scars are from an x ray I had in January when the hospital said it was ok but my dr today looked again and noticed

WARNING think carefully before going through with laps during these tough times
Like most of you on here I was desperate for my lap as I’d been on the waiting list since 2nd January, as bad as the pain was if I’d have known then I would have waited. I had my lap on 26/10 and 2 days later after collapsing I ended up in resus and after been blue lighted to a larger hospital I found

Researchers may have discovered reason why nearly half of corona sufferers don’t feel symptoms
Early in the pandemic, scientists established that the
SARS
-CoV-2 spike protein uses the angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) receptor to enter the body. But in June, two papers posted on the preprint server bioRxiv pointed to neuropilin-1 as a second receptor for
SARS
-CoV-2.

Influenza may facilitate the spread of SARS-CoV-2. A convincing argument to have the Flu vaccination.
The

SARS
-CoV), the first pandemic threat of a novel and deadly coronavirus that emerged in late 2002 and caused an outbreak of severe acute respiratory syndrome (

Coronavirus mutations: what we’ve learned so far.
Where did
Sars
-CoV-2 come from? When did it start infecting humans? How is the virus mutating – and does it matter?
Sars
-CoV-2 genomics, much like the virus itself, went big and went global.

Discovery of a druggable pocket in the SARS-CoV-2 Spike protein could stop virus in its tracks.
A druggable pocket in the
SARS
-CoV-2 Spike protein that could be used to stop the virus from infecting human cells has been discovered by an international team of scientists led by the University of Bristol.
