Anoro
I am mild COPD and was taking
Salmeterol
and Carbocisteine. It seemed quite effective. The doctor advised that I might be better on Anoro instead of

Trimbow eligibility??
all, and the other constant has been Atrovent or Spiriva, essentially depending how I’m feeling 😂 I’m 24 lol I wanted my medication to look cool when I was a bit younger, what can I say 🤷♂️ So even though I don’t have a diagnosis, I have been consistently on an ICS, LABA, and LAMA (fluticasone,

Update on my Sirdupla changes
I also know that Fomoterol didn't last as long for me as
Salmeterol
which is how I ended up on Sirdupla (I tried it with the conventional form of Sirdupla).

Symbicort wasn't working...my lungs still feel tightness. Dr. Prescribes Advair 250 discus.
As my post title says, the doctor prescribed Advair, but the pharmacy gave me Wixela Inhub, fluticasone propionate and
salmeterol
inhalation powder 250 mcg/ 50 mcg. First of all, is this the same? Anyone here know if these 2 medications are equivalent to each other?

Fostair: virtues & vices
I've tried a variety of other inhlaers over the past year: Q-var, Pulmicort, Seretide 50, Flixotide (with and without either formoterol or
Salmeterol
). None of them work anywhere near as well as the Fostair. Thus, I'm at a bit of a dead end.

Add on drugs that are usually prescribed by GP; montelukast, LABAs, combination inhalers and steroids!
So on with the infomercial 😉😂 LONG ACTING BETA 2 AGONISTS (LABAs) -
salmeterol
/formoterol inhalers For a lot of people a steroid inhaler is not enough to control their asthma, so your GP may try giving you a 3rd inhaler (on top of the steroid and reliever inhalers).

Preventer side affects
Anyway about 8 weeks ago I started using
salmeterol
(purple and white) twice a day as a preventor as I was noticing my asthma a little! Then with covid-19 I’ve kept going with it, my question is has anyone else noticed irritation with it?

Puzzled - stepping up preventer medicine when symptoms come on so quickly
All was well until I got a chest infection; I was given antibiotics and
salmeterol
, went back to 2 puffs, and saw some improvement within a week.

After chatting to the community I decided on a GP visit which ended up with new meds Sirdupla
Obviously I've read up on it now and its a steroid measured dosage inhaler that contains
salmeterol
and fluticasone propionate.

Seretide causing tremor?
It's a little surprising to me because the
salmeterol
component of my seretide 250 and 100 is the same (25mg) and it's just the fluticasone component that is stronger. I heard of relievers causing tremor and high heart rate but didn't this was the case of the preventer drugs.

Anyone on Flutiform?
Seem okay so far on Flutiform, which has fluticasone, ingredient being the same as the Seretide, but Seretide also contains
salmeterol
. but Feeling anxious that I will have further reaction after a while, to the Flutiform. Hope I get some sleep tonight.
