Start of my journey on FCR.
The first part was a slow drip of anti viral which I have to say was the worst part of the hole experience, combined with this was two doses of anti histamine to combat any side effects and finally a dose of Rituximab and
saline
flush.

Just for information ............
He did find though the
saline
in the neb was not particularly effective and seemed to make the mucous more sticky and more difficult to cough. He also found that using the spacer with the ventolin inhaler was really effective – sometimes more than the neb.

Not sure how soon I'll be able to resume nasal spray and
saline
washing, as I guess it's all a bit too raw at present. Seeing practice nurse tomorrow, so will see what she has to say about it.

Long and hard pregnancy
I Spent nearly 4 weeks in hospital constantly on a drip, whether it was vitamins,
saline
or potassium chloride being put through my drip my levels of fluids were constantly low. tiny sips of water would make my body surge and result in bowls of vomit (even with nothing inside me). it was a very hard

Mucous in my throat
I suffer alomst permanently with a glob of mucous in the back of my throat which I attribute to some form of sinusitis as one or other of my nasal passages is blocked most of the time - I use a
saline
solution to try and clear my nose.

Conjunctivitis treatment with serverly dry, sensitive eyes.
Eventually I got rid of the conjunctivitis with
saline
rinses every thirty minutes or so between my normal Bion Tears about every two hours. It is pretty painful. My son has got conjunctivitis again and now I have got it. Does anyone have an idea of how to treat it when you have server dry eyes?

Things are can't live without
(2)
saline
nasal spray (FESS in Oz) which I use quite liberally as it moistens my nose and loosens the accumulated mucus both in my nose and also my throat (many of us suffer from sinusitis or post-nasal drip) - its not magic but it helps. (3) my exercise bike (for obvious reasons, and I am ignoring

ABOUT A SEMINAR AT LEEDS – MINIMUM INVASIVE TECHNIQUES FOR EMPHYSEMA
Before the scope was removed from the patient, a little
saline
solution was used to check round the valves for leakage, and they were visually checked for correct operation. The procedure took about forty minutes, and general anaesthetic was used to sedate the patient.

Hi everyone, I would like to know if anyone has noticed while on a Nebulising machine that their eyesight has improved?
I have been on a nebuliser for 24hours now, using it for 3 to 4 times a day, with Ventalin and Salon, Ventalin opens up the airways and
Saline
helps loosen the phlemn, whilst on this machine I have found that my eyesight has improved somewhat I would Love to hear from you.

Long term antibiotics??
My daughter is 4, is on a multitude of inhalers/meds,
saline
nebs, physio and has also been on maintenance pred for the last 20months. She still has regular infections. She had double pneumonia in Dec and was very poorly, requiring IV's and oxygen.

Two invaluable products
Two things which have really helped me, apart from the usual medications.......my handy
