ventolin cut backs
I was very shocked to hear doctors are restricting ventolin (
salbutamol
) to some patients, at the end of the day if you have an attack ventolin can save people, it’s easy to say you should be ok having your preventative meds so you wont need much reliever but that wont keep you alive when you need

hi! I’m a senior with lifelong asthma. Two days ago I was having an attack and nearly od’ on my nebulizer. I have a combination of opretorium and albuterol I didn’t use my long breathing tube, instead I got a more concentrated dose. Once in a.m and afternoon. Got buzzy in the head

Upper airway obstruction on spirometry?
At times my chest felt tight which made me panic My gp said it could be reflux and prescribed omeprazole and a
salbutamol
inhaler. The oneprazole seemed to help a little the
salbutamol
not so much.

salbutamol

Bronchiectasis
I was diagnosed with COPD last November and was put on Trilegy and
Salbutamol
. However, last week I attended the clinic and the nurse there said she doesn’t think I have COPD but Bronchiectasis/ emphysema. Has anyone else got this and what medication do you take to relieve the symptoms?

new to bronchiectasis follow up
No change to my inhalers, relvar, spiriva, montelukast tablets,
salbutamol
inhaler and nebules. I am trying to cut down on caffeine, up non caffeinated fluids and trying to eat healthily and walk on the flat for 20 minutes a day.

I have not got an asthma diagnosis, but had inhalers (
salbutamol
, Clenil, Fostair) for 18 months after suspected Covid in March 2020. I stopped using them after I stopped noticing a benefit, and by then I had a breast cancer diagnosis so I had more to worry about.

Asthma and hay fever
For the last couple of days I'm having to use the blue
Salbutamol
inhaler 3 or 4 tikes a day. I have a slight wheeze and SOB, and I feel fine for a few hours after 2 puffs on my inhaler. My eyes are red and itchy too.

NHS medication requested from GP surgery
However nothing has happened, except with my antibiotic Azithromycin and my inhaler
Salbutamol
and Saline. I haven’t had review, and can’t order items for my balance issues, thyroid, Ultibro Breezhaler, Ventilin. I’ve messaged my surgery several times, and tried to telephone, useless.

Is Trimbow ok for Bronchiectasis
I had to use my
Salbutamol
repeatedly until i could breath more comfortably. Oddly SP02 remained around 96% while I was struggling. From everything I've read Trimbow is a COPD and Asthma treatment but is not recommended for bronchiectasis.

Salbutamol inhaler
The nurse who called me back listened and then suggested that a
Salbutamol
inhaler might help. Fortunately I had been prescribed one as I had earlier suffered Proctalgia Fugax and Levator Anni Syndrome as it was though to reduce the length of time I suffered the pain.

Sudden onset poorly controlled asthma
The GP listened to my chest and put me straight on a
salbutamol
nebuliser as my chest was too quiet and I was tachycardic. Literally after a few minutes I felt much better of the nebuliser.

is this cough normal with copd//emphysema
I know how to do the coughs with the abc cycle but sometimes I just cough, I take bevispi,
salbutamol
and carbocysteine tablets , and try and walk a mile daily. I do my housework as normal although maybe a little slower. Sometimes I cough so much I get a pain across my back/shoulders.

Thanks to you all
We spoke to his GP over the phone this morning and he now has a
salbutamol
inhaler as well, which he used this afternoon. He thought it helped, which I'm pleased about because his GP said it might not.

This may help
I’m still taking my preventative pumps but am now hardly using my
salbutamol
at all, whereas I was getting through that pump once a month. my B6 tablets are ‘natures aid’ brand and are pure B6 , I.e not mixed with anything else.
