CLL in treatment and possible long Covid and managing isolation
My 74 year old husband has CLL and is on treatment consisting of Obinutuzumab infusions (just completed) and Venetoclax. He got Covid for the second time in January 2023, took Paxlovid, and it resolved without too much complication. He then had the "Paxlovid rebound." He recovered from that pretty well

We discussed how 10x
salbutamol
inhaler through a spacer can be used instead so that's what I went with.

Changing from MDIs to DPIs for the environment
I did once try using Salamol before going out (just once so far) and that worked better as it had longer to take effect, but if I do that every time I would really increase my
salbutamol
use. Is that sensible. I know I need to experiment further.

Emotion, asthma and the full moon
I have been gasping for air and reaching for
salbutamol
this morning. I guess there is nothing unusual in that ! Do my fellow asthmatics believe there is a connection between stress and asthma, between anxiety and asthma, and between emotion and asthma ?

You are what you breath - but what you breath varies...
I reach immediately for my
salbutamol
and take a couple of puffs and make sure I have it with me all day. I lie quietly and breath in (nose) out (mouth) using the picture on the wall trick to ensure regulation .

Weaning off Sirdupla 250?
I would love to be able to go back to the time when I just needed the occasional
salbutamol
but I am scared of going back to the time when I would have to take ludicrous amounts of
Salbutamol
and still having to go to hospital or at least onto oral steroids when it wasn't enough.

methadone and shortness of breath
Hi all, Apologize in advance for length of this post. I've had RLS for since my early 40s and spent about 14 years on DA drugs. A not unusual story with augmentation and switching over to pregabalin about 3 years ago- but the pregabalin not being entirely effective for symptoms. At that time I was

Asthma uncontrolled post covid
Post Covid they increased my steroid inhaler, then swapped it for the Fostair 200/g, as well as advising I continue to taken
salbutamol
. Recently they have put me on Montelukast. None of this seems to be getting my asthma under control and I feel helpless/like I’m going round in circles!

Seeking help
Increased inhalers as per plan, and using spacer for
salbutamol
but want some advice on what to do over the bank holiday weekend. Been a couple of times I thought about calling for help as
Salbutamol
only working for short periods. Really want to avoid ED if possible.

Advice on lung clearance devices please
My GP supplies me with Carbocisteine and
Salbutamol
, plus rescue packs of antibiotics for the flare ups. I bought a 'non branded' 'lung expansion and mucus relief device' off the internet, and feel that this has helped.

5 Year old with asthma
Hello all. My son is 5 years old (6 in February) and was diagnosed with asthma 3 years ago. He was a very normal healthy baby boy. When he was age 2 he started getting sick literally every single day after he ate any type of food. For a year they gave him steroids and he gained a lot of weight. At age
