New COPD- Can I head off another chest infection?
I also have
salbutamol
if required. I have finally been pretty well the last fortnight, thankfully, but just today I have been showing signs of a cold. I’m also a tinier bit “chesty”, but only just a hint.

11 admissions in a year
I'm worried about the affects of so much
salbutamol
. For instance between Oct and Jan he was unable to wean off it at all. 10 puffs at least every 4 hours, often much more often. I really appreciate any advice or input. Thanks

Asthma medication
Hi everyone, Today my GP has given me a
salbutamol
inhaler thinking I may have asthma. My worry is that my tinnitus came on 8 months ago whilst in the midst of taking all kinds of medications for a chest infection and as such I am scared of taking any more medications.

Vertigo with inhalers
Hi, I have adult onset asthma. Last 3 yrs have been hell trying to breathe and keep out of hospital. I tried qvar and then symbicort. Both made me extremely dizzy with vertigo that was not tolerable. Something in these inhalers is triggering a response. Im now only using nebulized albuterol after exp

Salbutamol Inhaler
One of the inhalers I use for my COPD is Salbutamol. The last 3 that I have used sometimes does not give the spray when I suck in.Does anyone else have this problem? I now take the top off and press the canister to make sure it is working.Sometimes I have to this a few times before it gives out the full

Steroids through a nebuliser
I know this is common side effect of
salbutamol
but I am finding them a little difficult to cope with as time goes on and it’s not calming down. I mean it’s nice not sounding like a broken boiler quite as much as I did before but but it’s getting a little much.

Frustrated with new gp’s
I had my asthma review in November where by they informed me I was taking too much
salbutamol
. (Approx 1 inhaler per 4 weeks, sometimes less sometimes a little more) this is normal for my asthma and depending on the seasons and sickness. Apparently they expect me to use less of my Inhaler.
