Oro pharangeal colonisation

Has anyone got this result back from a sputum sample, I’m having a really bad time trying to clear my airways, so horrible thick and scary, I’ve used neb with salbutamol and I’m on carbocystien, do I need a certain type of antibiotic, any help please xx

I have not had that but the carbocysteine should help, as will drinking plenty of water. I hope it is soon resolved.

Anti fungal maybe.. the doctor should know..

Colonisation by what ? Once you-we know that it will he easier to answer 😊

At present only Candida printed on form ?

Candida is thrush Carol so antibiotics won’t help. Ask your gp about anti-fungals if it’s giving you a sore throat

Hi hanne, I’m back in hospital again another infection and reflux issues, it seems my body is full of fungal bacteria as the blood results show colonisation of Candida I’ve had two weeks of fluoctizone but it’s not moved it by the looks of things grrr so fed up of this damn disease .. they may let me home in next couple of days, hope u are well xx
